Same here, really dissapoining to not have heard single offical statement on this, they must be aware of this, and if not then I have no hope for this game.

If it is any consolation, I did already get an initial response to my support ticket. However, they are asking for game logs and DxDiag (aka following the standard script), which neither apply to either this situation or the other issue I posted about with Diseased Migration quest not being able to be picked up for certain players.
Also, given that these issues are over a couple weeks old since being found, that information would both not be accessible, and what is accessible obviously is no longer relevant. Boss spawning would be server side and code diagnostics, which we wouldn’t have access to. Here’s to getting a quick response back that isn’t just the standard script… hopefully…
Boy do i ever love slowly solo grinding my way through the hammer quest line, then put together a group to clear malevolence just to find out that the boss i need to kill apparently dont spawn.
Hoping I have something more of a response on Monday, but we’ll see. My plan in the meantime is to make sure I am at the location when servers go down and there ready to go when they come up. There was one group on our server that said they managed to kill him at server restart before he despawned, but who knows. They thought he was fixed because of that, only to find out that the rest of us couldn’t do it.
One person that was in that group did not have their quest far enough at the time, only to find out later in the day that they could no longer get the kill.
Make sure you have like 10 or more people an a couple healers to be safe, speed is key here
Been broken for over a year shit is funny at this point.
I know they probably have bigger fires to put out than a bugged mastery quest at this point, but i really hope something about this quest is addressed this upcoming patch day.
Can we get an eta on this?, is it really that hard to check a mobs respawn rate?.

Well I actually managed to contact a mod about this problem and they have notified the team on it. Yay
Bump. We also need to get the Edengrove/Genesis quest line fixed (for those who got it cancelled because they did Shield Mastery first), the Lazarus questline with the never-ending spawn of mobs, and Morzul the Herald for those trying the sword (he keeps resetting and despawning before many can kill him). I logged off in frustration yesterday because every questline I undertake is bugged and pointless.

Can you just give the Quest Item to the ppl or mark the quest as finished.

Members of my company managed to complete the quest after the server restart. But now the boss has not respawned since.
Dryad Beast Malevolence Still Bugged in New World - YouTube still bugged… went to check today after patch and no mobs were even there at his spawn location
For those who click on the video and see the boss fighting and there: he despawns if you keep watching at about the 9:42 mark of Dorrian’s linked YouTube video. Now after that… no adds spawn in that room, he doesn’t teleport anywhere in the building, nothing happens. He’s just gone. He never comes back till the server resets. This has been happening since Alpha, Beta, but no one will touch this, fix it, correct it, anything. They just won’t fix this problem. Period.
The guy in the video was correct in that it does seem like he is timed and despawns if the fight drags on too long. Larger groups were reporting 10-15% despawn before higher gear was a thing and smaller groups at 50-60%+. We managed to kill him without any issues with around 10 people though after the maintenance this morning. So at least I managed to get it done… now if they would fix it for everyone else.
Wasn’t the shield mastery that bugged the Eden quest line. I haven’t even remotely touched a shield and mine is the same way. The only common thread for not being able to do the Genesis and Spriggan quest that I have come across is that people who did it early prior to their unannounced “fix”, were locked out of picking up Diseased Migration which gates those quests. Everyone I have come across that did it later picked up their quest without any issues at all.
As to the Reekwater quests, the issue is that people would constantly hit the quest interacts and spawn an extra set of the mobs that are intended to spawn in waves in the first place. This seems to be able to get up to 8-10 sets that can be spawned because people did not kill their set to complete the 2nd portion of the quest. The southeast ruins area quest that you go down in, this causes an additional issue because each mob of the sets triggers another wave, with the ending wave being the quest mob as a summoner that spawns more. If people do the quest one at a time and clear in between, it is not an issue… not an appropriate fix, but a manageable one on our end.
