Malevolence bug (580 hammer quest : The Living Crystal)

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Nope, the boss still miss after 3 weeks
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Go check Malevolence open dungeon, SPOILER: The boss will not show.

I think that after 3 weeks you should have fixed a bug like this, because as an hammer user I’m the only one who has not recived a 580 gs weapon.

You need to camp on top of the tower before a patch or a Server restart. Then he respawns. Just log in asap. Thats how I killed him today after patch :slight_smile:

Enough Server restarts to do it. Until Amazon fixes it, its the “meta”

Quest is still bugged. Logged off on top of tower where Malevolence spawns. After restart the adds were there, we killed them and Malevolence spawned got boss to about 20% and and it de-spawned. Kept boss on the circular platform that has the chest the entire encounter but didn’t help, Malevolence just disappears! This is still bugged after patch on 10 - 29 / 30 - 2021.

Logged in today after maintenance and still no boss spawn.

Can confirm this is still a problem, decided to level up the war hammer and ran into it.

How can something like this not get fixed?

Please fix this AGS it’s ridiculous you have a quest for a end game weapon locked behind a bug. This should of been in the future patch notes if nothing else. At least tell us you know of this issue and are working on a fix.

they know the problem - but no fix in near future it seams.

It is on there know Problem list but when they want to fix it… nobody knows.

So its on known issues, they want to add Void Guantlet quest line. But not fix this quest line? nice AGS.
