Map bug, can't recall to inn and other map UI issues

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Inn Recall doesn’t show up as an option, no settlements appear as their own locations, Filters on the left is on top of Resource, Territory, and Objectives; My Standing is listed as 99 and Property Tax info on the right appears over Territory Standing Bonuses

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Minor inconvenience, can just use recall from the Game Menu

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Have not fixed it

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: It appears that loading the game via desktop shortcut (created when I installed the game) causes the map UI to bug out.

update: It appears that loading the game via desktop shortcut (created when I installed the game) causes the map UI to bug out. Opening through the Steam client the map appears normal. I’ll edit the bottom of the original post.

Hey there,

I wouldn’t be so sure it is just from launching from desktop - I don’t have a desktop launch and open through steam every time.

I get this bug every 2nd or 3rd load in of the game. Seems only way to fix is to relaunch which depends on time of day because of queues to if it’s even worth trying to relaunch for the ui :disappointed:

I wonder if it’s just my PC having a weird reaction caused by the dynamic resolution. Not sure how I’d test it but I’ll leave that to far more capable minds :smiley:

I have the same issue but in my case it doesn`t work to restart the game regardless how I start it.

I have the exact same issue even launching from Steam

I don´t know if it´s the reason but I deactivated V-Sync and my map is working now.

Yep still having the problem off and on. One relog seems to fix it, but that can be quite annoying during peak hours.

I am having the SAME issues with my map. It is VERY frustrating! I tried loading form Stream but it doesn’t fix the issue. It also doesn’t seem to matter how many times I restart. Any other solutions to this?

Having the exact same issue, its very very annoying. i have to relog like 10 times to get the map working and it takes ages each time to log
