Didn’t expect to be back here again this month, but wow.
As a recap, we got the word that the horrible cooldowns cleaned up a couple weeks ago, which will be a great thing, and we also got the horrible housing tax issue taken care of by the good folks working hard behind the scenes at AGS.
But now, today, something that was broken from day one has been largely fixed.
Is it that the Azoth fast travel costs have been reduced to levels that now not just the richest of crafters can finally make more than the occasional item infused with Azoth? While that is indeed a major improvement, that isn’t what has me bubbling over with good cheer.
Is it that now in-home Storage Chests have had their capacity doubled, meaning that even the Hewn Log storage chest gives not a mere 200, but 400 pounds of extra storage {EACH}, and so the best craftable chests chests will now give 1,000 pounds of additional storage? While that too deserves a rousing cry of joy, that to is not what I’m so happy about.
No friends, what has me so happy is that we can now, at long last, access any and all storage our character has, from any storage location, regardless of faction ownership, distance, or anything else, and moving things about no longer has costs!!
So I say,
Once again!
If others would like to post some big improvements that they have enjoyed, not restricted to the last 30 or so days, post them here, and show (and share) you appreciation for all the hard work going on behind the scenes.
We all know the desire for “Instant Gratification” prevalent in todays society, but fixing things properly takes time, and we should be less vocal in our complaints and demands, and more focused on remembering all the ways the game is (slowly) getting better.
I myself am guilty of a less than polite, patient, understanding thread this very day (which you can find here if you really want) and I have to say, I’m sorry that I panicked over what turned out to be just a simple bug, and had let despair do my talking for me, but a good thing came of even that kind of thread, in that many other posters chipped in and provided insight on what was wrong, and an easy work around, and in just a matter of a few minutes.
