March Update fails to address Desync & Combat Bugs

The massive increase in desync, stutter when changing weapons, weapon swap bug, S&S / Voidblade light attacks being interruptible, riposte being interruptible, and queue system being unreliable - all of which were introduced in the February “bug-fixing” update are all COMPLETELY IGNORED in this March update… how?

These are the most critical issues plaguing the game and they are all just being completely ignored by devs for the sake of “new content” - which will surely introduce even more bugs.

I don’t understand how they haven’t realized yet that most people stop playing because the game is fundamentally broken… if they would focus on creating a working game with solid combat first, and then introduce new content (that was well tested) after that, this game could have a really bright future.

They’re trying to please everyone which unfortunately will not work.

Everyone complaining about the delay in the “new content” where there should not even be “new content” in the first place. At least AGS had a smart decision for once and will do an extra round of checks.

A building without good foundation will collapse eventually. That’s just how it is. I’ll be around to see this one collapse at some point if nothing changes in terms of this delivery cicle.
If you keep adding floors to that building, it will get harder and harder by each time to fix the issue in it’s foundation, as you’ll have to bring down more and more walls.

It bothers me and kind of makes me feel sad, that at the current state of the game, we’re getting montlhy patches with mediocre bug fixing.

The QA team lead talks on the DEV update about fixing over 1000 bugs, guess what, the number is meaningless if in the end we didn’t see significant changes for the better, in fact the opposite.

What could it be? A bad QA cicle? Bad management? Lack of care? Too much money to spend?
Sometimes i think we’re trying to enjoy the first project of a group of intern developers.

Yup this is what happens to me all the time and it is getting worse. When I go into OPR i feel like the server is going to explode.

It’s a solid patch but indeed the performance and desync made me Uninstall after one OPR match.

I hope to return when they have addressed this.

Is this a separate list than the patch notes? I didn’t see this anywhere when I read through them unless I missed it

ah I found it is the list linked on the bug report, ty I will start checking this too

This will remain unfixed for weeks, if not months

This patch fixed stuttering for me. Wars also felt great tonight.

I tried OPR playing melee is great, magic casts finally hit enemies not flying through them.

Yea i already stop playing like 1-2 weeks ago (1500h in game). Log in to craft dailis and sometimes farm some rocks or pigs for 20-30min and im gone. And this is the main reason. They broke combat and for a month didnt fix.

This should be hot fixed first week after feb patch. But nope.

Still not fixed.

Yep bump for a fix

you know what?! I give up… I shelved my fav weapon, the rapier) and joined the IG train.
it looks that it’s not gonna be nerfed anytime soon so F it.
after thw servers came back up i played for 5 hours (In Dry Tree EU) in pve i didn’t stutter or glitched as much as before and in pvp now using the IG I was always on the top 5… wile before with rapier i was always around 12-18. so yeah… I’m going to vê contributing for server lag and tears in the forum. sorry.

ESO has been trying to fix server lag in Cyrodill since 2014… It’s not an easy thing to just “fix”

Bump
