they postponed the shroud skin drop for friday.
and they are looking to do the drop when the servers are down patching… so…

Provide more details about the issue itself. Too many secrets make the bound between players and the game to be break.
I dont think they are trying to be secretive about the issue. Its simply a significant bug that needs to be fixed prior to release. I trust that AGS is working hard, and this monthly update has a ton of new changes and content which I can only imagine involves alot of changes to the games code

Unless they plan on working the weekend, releasing a patch on Friday is not a good idea.

Atleast they can comminucate now and learned not to tell us the update will be tomorrow when they have no idea if that could happen.

Really? Last post is 3am TODAY (eu central time). It says - we identified and fixed issue. Patch will be providing update tomorrow morning? Morning, what time zone? Are you sure they won’t encounter more problems? Don’t really see better communication here. If you found and fixed the problem, give us new ETA for release like 03/31 13:00 CET, or something like that.
they sadly could prolly only use 10% of the current forum users for testing. Coz 90% of the users sitting in forum just want their own weapon to be broken A.F. and dont care about anything else.
The news article on steam says, " New World’s Heart of Madness Update downtime will begin for all regions at 5AM PT (12PM UTC) on March 30. Expected downtime is 2 hours. "
