Then they should say “test this rewards 1k marks or something” and go into specifics of what they want tested, ‘Help test 50 features get this exclusive skin’. I would and I’m sure many others would be happy to do that.

Why do you have to have a reward for trying to make the game better? IDK if its a generational difference of mindset, but you baught the game, played the game, had fun especially in the beginning, and now that its stale and the player base is dwindling you want a reward for trying to help make the game better because you want to see it succeed. There is lots of frustrations with this game, but seems like people just want hand outs. Hand outs arnt going to bring in “good quality feedback”, all that brings is more people playing a test phase.
At the current state, the game will make it a year, it will definitely be a struggle, but will make it. Much after that idk. That all depends on who the have for the new lead of AGS and if they finally buckle down and focus.
By no means is coding a MMO easy or fixing bugs on a whim. Wish it was that simple but the reality is its not. Right now thier biggest issue is what they are focusing on and their communications with the players.

so post-poned again ?
The performance of AGS in the past 10 months made me a gloomster despite hoping each time that they do better like the tell us all the time only to get let down again and again.
Then they should just tell us that they are in over their head with the announcement of monthly updates because until now they never released a patch that was ready.

Also. Wasn’t we supposed to have downtime today for the update? I guess that’s not happening either?
That being said. There’s still 45 minutes to find out but I haven’t tried going onto the game itself, so no idea if downtime is already underway or not.
(Just went on to check it out. Ok so this is 2 failed updates as per planned schedule. Don’t get our hopes up again until everything is actually 100% set in stone).

Servers are still up and never went down so that steam statement is old and no longer true
Would you guys rather they rush the release and introduce more bugs? I’m 100% good with waiting as long as that means they don’t have to shut off the trade post again.
There hasn’t been a single update since launch that didn’t introduce a dupe.
Or how about we don’t get bugs and release content on time? I know it is a crazy thought with how we currently view New World as if that’s beyond them. I love the game, but can’t give them a pass on things that are required.
its simple, they had a choice to release a date for the update, they had a choice to finish testing before doing the release, see where all the mistakes are poiting to?

They delayed Feb patch and still had bugs etc. Why is this time any different ?

AGS is in a no-win situation. They detect a major problem and delay release and the whining begins. They possibly have to delay past the end of month projected deadline and the whining will intensify. They fix the major problem and release and the whining continues because the release was not flawless (as none in any MMO ever) and they had to wait for it. 
To be fair nothing has been flawless since launch lol
