I don’t RP in mmos but this is definitely needed. It’s easier for RP to flow in designated RP servers as RPers heavily rely on text chat for RP.
I used to go RP on Guild Wars 2 sometimes just for a change of pace (more so for giggles) and it was always fun.
Hopefully, what would happen is that with a dedicated RP server, we would have Mod support in being able to report/ban non rp names and non rp friendly people.
There are a couple thousand accounts on the main NW RP Discord and not every RPer I know is on that. I’d say it’s about 1 person on the Discord to every 4-5 I know who joined this game with the intent to RP in it. I’d say that’s worth putting a dedicated RP server or two in-game.

Yes I left Orofena because of the abuse/toxicity of general chat. I have since moved to a new server. One that actually respects me and what I do. It’s the closest I have found as a tight nit community like we had on alpha. If you really want to roleplay there is a server for you but you need to ask me in PM’s because I won’t share it on these forums.

Agreed, having a dedicated RP server is a huge benefit. It will at least help the RP community (both new and current) focus on an official server, and help those not interested in RP servers avoid it. A win win, more so with limited server sizes.
It would be amazing to have a place to fit in and all join together rather than being spread out!
I absolutely agree. If this much needed change is made, please mark a server within each region (e.g., one for U.S. East, S.A. East, U.S. West, etc.).
I just think the RP community, mostly, has the most helpful community. Taking a look at that site now. I have never RP’d in a game, even when I was on WoW’s RP servers. But hey, I’m a DM and Storyteller on Twitch, I got this! haha.
Please do this. The RPers are split between so many realms and we can’t play together.
I mean, we could always just wait until the server transfers are over. See where everything has become stabilized a bit more and make a more solid unofficial RP server…

I 100% agree and couldnt have said it better myself. On my server, we’re getting harassment every day nearly every 30 minutes with people saying they wish the rpers would grow up and leave. There are people who seem to think that this game is only for pvp when that isn’t the case anymore and I only assume that they didnt pay attention to what Amazon Games has said about it. Quite honestly, all of us are tired of hearing people whine and harass other players for liking something they do not. Please set up dedicated, labeled servers so that people can be where they need to be and avoid the toxicity of those who hate them.
I agree. it would be very helpful and only take changing the name of a server slightly.
If you received targeted death threats and other such harassment that breaks Tos/EULA it’s time to take screenshots and report.
This sort of behaviour is not acceptable towards anyone for any reason. Please report these toxic individuals they have no place in our community.
I think once they figure out what they’re doing with the current servers and queues etc, then they will implement new servers and possibly even new servers where pvp might always be on, or RP is the focus.

Unfortunately, voice chat is also a thing and that’s much more difficult to prove.
To an extent, tell them your headphones stopped working and try to goad them into providing you proof. I know it sucks to subject yourself to that but I don’t think anyone wants to play with those kinds of individuals. Please let AGS know if you find anyone like that.
