So as u already understood the topic is about the mass-report thing which is still valid in NW and the CS live chat/ ban appeal team both don’t admit that mass-report thing is here, their words are “every case is being reviewed before applying the ban” but it’s not true, the mass-report works like an anti-cheat when u get automatically banned by the system once u receive curtain amount of bans on the character on the curtain period of time. I have been banned 3 times in a row in this month because of that and CS literally ain’t unban me, after second ban I started recording everything on OBS since u have to prove that u are not a cheater or w/e u got banned for. Imagine, people don’t need any evidences to ban u, but u need evidences to get the unban, so if u ain’t recording every ur action u ain’t protected at all and imagine people just using this broken system to ban those who they personally don’t like. If u don’t trust me u can try it on any of ur alt accounts, make it active, report it with whole the company by the reason of “cheating” and it will go. So now imagine what kind of advantages people can get from it. The person who gets banned from it, won’t be able to get the unban w/e he does. I am experienced on that because I do receive it really often, no matter what kind of evidences u provide to CS, they won’t ever unban u, unless u are a big streamer so they understand that it will have a resonance on the community. The team of the CS have no clue what the NW really is. There are huge amount of information and proves about that on Reddit/NW forum. The reason why people can’t get the unban after wrongly applied ban is that CS simply ain’t able get into the point since they don’t know anything about NW, the VODs we provide them are just empty videos from random game for them, they can’t really judge anything by them, all kind of SSs are also blind water for them. I mean I can’t even imagine what kind of evidences we need to provide to people who ain’t knowlegable about the game to make them convenient that u are not a cheater, by fact, I have provided the VOD which is acceptable only from the link and asked to carefully watch it before making a conclusion about my last case, then I got a reply that they fully watched it and it’s still not enough, however the VOD has 0 views, it’s what it’s.

tbh I have created this topic just to support the resonance on the community but all what I told is true and I slightly hope that AGS will fix it.
Wow. I’ve had a nearly identical experience. Three bans in 30 days, and they also didn’t view/download my supporting evidence (gameplay/logs) for my most recent ban.
I do mate, musket main, there is no point even to send them vods from oprs/wars etc, just imagine mate, there are people who never touched NW, if u send them the video of unknown game 20-25 min long, they won’t be able to recognize anything over there, like they don’t know how aimbot or other cheats look in NW, if u send them video where u use riposte 20 times straight with no cd they still won’t understand if it’s cheat or not
I mean I have vods from my alt of every single opr I did, I only played opr then logged off and got banned on the second day, even if I provide them all the vods they won’t unban me and it’s a problem, there is no counter on mass-report thing, it gets applied without any evidences against u and u can’t get out of ban w/e u do
I did come to that realization as well. Based on my limited communication with an actual human from the moderation department, I’d be surprised if they are actually familiar with New World gameplay.
Facts lol, their customer support is a joke. Ive been routed to someone who didnt even work for ags. Just get these automated replies, send them game files only to be told nothing they can do. Wasnt banned but had a separate issue.
Have they really closed the 500+ reply thread about that topic with a standard reply? Its just so sad.
I dont know… I have given up this game.
My only remaining friend who plays this game got his second ban within a short amount of time for… we have no idea. We used to play together almost all the time (in the meaning of: we dont play 24/7 but when we play NW, we did it together).
In case it matters, he is also a musket player, an average one I would say. He appealed his first ban and got a standard reply.
Now he refused to appeal again (his words: waste of time) and deinstalled the game.
Just a thought for the dev team: how are you supposed to attract new players when they cant even be sure that they keep their account just because some people got mad for whatever reason? How is it even possible that some people have the power to destroy hundreds and thousands hours of play time for someone else?
Overall, I mostly enjoyed my time in this game but I have no incentive to play it alone, and after these random bans I definitely need a break from it.
