What is being done to address this? It is so obvious now that people default it. take this guy for example, I ran through and the mobs got on him from about 50 meters away, and his default mode was to get people to report me to get me banned. Why are AGS not banning these people for doing this? It’s constant, people reported my friend for offensive name, when it had nothing offensive and it got instantly reversed.

lol, no auto ban, but there is defiantly something that will auto take you out of game or forums if you get enough reports. Then supposedly a " real person " looks into it.
Im not sure about that, the offensive name ban was not offensive at all, it had not derogatory or anything that could be assumed to be another word. In fact in the ban reversal the GM said “That’s not offensive to me” Auto ban to me is either an automated thing, or enough reports that someone clicks the ban button on the other side based on how many reports, and does not review data and confirm the facts.
The ban issue has been suspicious from the beginning. So far from AGS they always say…

this system doesnt work properly. I got temp banned once cause I was talking on global chat with a guy about a faction and got mass reported. Yday I got flagged for abusive behavior for giving my opinion about one thing without OFFEND ANYBODY and got flagged for abusive behavior, this is insane how the AI works bad.
I don’t have anything to add on the topic but if you wanna take better screenshots you can click Shift + WindowsKey + S and just cut out the part you need and then simply ctrl + v it into the post.

I do not believe in autobans, but I think that if poorly paid outsourced Indian customer support guy with bad English has to decide a case that got 20 flags, he may not take every aspect of the case into consideration and may not proceed with enough caution.
