Sit down kids, uncle Keitas is going to tell you a story.
I’m italian, and I used to play the game in italian. Given my nationality, when I realized there were recipes like “Carbonara” or “spaghetti alla Bolognese” I just HAD TO LEVEL UP COOKING. Don’t judge me.
Now…
A maxed out cooking skill is indeed useful if you are capable of putting your hands on the end game recipes… so yesterday I decided to go looking for those top tier foods at the marketplace. And here it came the bitter discovery(pic below):
I said to myself: “ohh come on! I really levelled up 200 cooking for this? 5 ridicolous point to dexterity? THIS SUCKS!”
But then, switching the game to english today(when I moved to an international server) I readed this:
and I was like "wait whaaaaaat this is SO MUCH BETTER. How can an ENGLISH MADE CARBONARA BE BETTER THAN AN ITALIAN ONE?!
Jokes aside, I think this translation bug should be fixed, because it is extremely misleading.
And check out that also the time that those food buffs last are ridicolously wrong(who’s that psychopath that measure time in hundredths of a minutes?).
Mr. Community Moderator senpai,
I wanted to advise you also that I discovered other discrepancies about food description, in the specific related to the regen hp and mana food that have a wrong description in italian wrt the english version.
If pictures are needed, I will provide them, but I’m a lazy person so I will do it only if requested.
Basically the italian version of the foods says “you regen 1 hp every 1 second” or “you regen 2 hp every 2 seconds” or again “you regen 3 hp every 3 seconds”, which doesn’t make much sense considering that these three effects are, respectively, of the tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 food. In fact, the english version says that you regen 100/200/300 hp every second.
I hope you will fix this too. I’m glad to help the community and the improvement of such awesome game that is New World.
