Material Converters are broken, can a mod pass this onto the devs?

The meta on these things is completely screwed up, especially on the T5 Masterwork Material Converts. 500 faction tokens allows a player to convert a measly 20 refining components down into 15 refining components. That is absolutely horrible in both efficiency and time cost to run missions. Then there are freaking taxes that have to be paid. 9.83 coin at 0.69 refining fee. That is a completely ridiculous! The things might as well be useless as refining components can literally be bought for a fraction of what it costs to use material converters on the trading post!

I wish the devs would actually do something about this. Lowering the faction token cost down and/or increasing the batch size to 50 or even 100 and setting taxes per use instead of per item converted would greatly increase their relevance in game.

I wouldn’t call them useless I made a small fortune converting wireweave and aged tannen into flux , sandpaper, and it’s how I got a bunch of pure solvent when I need it. Plus you get the bonus when wearing clothes so for sand paper you can even do stonecutters and convert there.

Especially when wireweave or tannen are .o5 or lower. buy 400 for 20 grab 20 converters go to the zone you get lowest conversion tax in for converting get 315-20+ depending unless it’s flux since no smelter set. try and always convert to something selling over 1. Last time I converted I bought wireweave at .03 for 400 grabbed converters and converted to sandpaper the bonus gave me 326, sold them at 1.34 or 436.84 the conversion tax was not in an area I have a discount so all total I had 150+12 for the weave, and change in the conversion, after the trade tax for selling it’s still over 250 coin for doing nearly nothing but using some excess faction rep. Now multiply that by the thousands of times I have done that.

granted chisels and other thing are more profit, but can sometimes take longer to flip. This keep me from farming refining mats all the time.
