I want to add he also killed me twice in medium armor cause I couldn’t off-kite his blocks. I coulda ran but committed. Light armor can kill him 10/10 times but it definitely takes a while.
Like yeah I could’ve ice showered/stormed him for a potential KO but that’s an overtuned issue with the ice gaunt, not tanks. I am 50con/375 int with a 577 keen/enchanted fs.
Props to this guy for knowing how to tank, he actually knows how to play the game. Now imagine this guy had 2 or 3 friends. I would be ignoring him entirely.
I mean I play OR all the time, and yeah the problem is it’s just lifestaff heavy armor / ice gauntlet meta because they’re the two most overtuned things in the game and they counter each other. I do see tanks sometimes in OR but they never play the game right. They’re best for sitting on fort flag.
One off situation doesn’t really count. It counts don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t really count with statistics provided since alpha launched in September 28 because pve just had to have it right now and you know what’s funny, at least from my end, those pve who were saying I am wrong that the game needed time ect stopped playing.
Showing off one random kill against a none meta game user doesn’t show the whole picture. Everyone can cherry pick what to show and show it in a positive light but the major issue still persists.
It’s literally about tanks, not heavy armor lifestaff. There’s been a lot of threads of tanks complaining about how resil fix resulted in them getting 3 shot by dps classes which is not the case clearly.
