Meaning of yellow debuff number

i dont know what it is

i have tried doing the rend while the other one was still active

tried void blade

tried doing all crits

none of it worked so i dont know what it is

I guess colors in numbers:

White, normal damage
Blue, damage debuff
Yellow, damage advantage
Orange, critical damage

So, if you atack corrupted with a hammer, show blue numbers. If atack them with a spear, shows yellow numbers

This is about colors on debuff icons, not on damage.

Both Rend in the screen have been applied using perforate by two different player.

For that very reason… rend reduces the target’s damage absorption…

I guess is different absorption depending on the type of damage

But that’s what I think, I’m not really sure this is how it should look…

I see 2 options:

  1. You have a perforate+ 3hit Void gauntlet (blade);
  2. You have 2 perforates. One done before the boss hit 50% go and one done after.

Perforate has a stronger effect on targets above 50% which could explain the yellow number.

Nope, already tested.
We found out that two different player cannot stack the same debuff.

Example:
Mob has >50% HP and 2 player perform perforate, then only one rend with 3 stack is applied.
If the mob is <50% HP and 2 player perform perforate, then only one rend with 3 stack is applied.

Particular case:
if you put rend at >50% an icon will appear, if rend is already applied and then you go <50% and perform perforate, another identical debuff icon will appear indicating the less effective rend.
This is so stupid because you have no way to understand which icon is the less effective one.

Still no clue on how the yellow number is applied and what it does mean.

Any dev that can clarify? There is no documentation on any of this…

Both these rend have white numbers?

I’ve actually had this question for awhile now. Can anyone explain this? @Shadow_Fox @Willard

Yes, both white number.

Thank you!

Just a assumption, this is showing you rend applied by you (white) and the rend applied by others (yellow). But well could be literally anything. Lets see what it is in the end

hello,
any news about the topic @Willard ?
All people actively playing the game have no idea of the meaning of the yellow color on the debuff.

ya know something i kinda noticed.

edit: perforate changes color above or below 50% (just realized i might be miss remembering and seems people have testted this) also want to add even above 50% i can stack both riposte and 3 perforates on chardius.

edit: removed im probably wrong.

though offical word should be needed…

They are slow to give an answer for the simple reason that even they don’t know why this is happening, like 90% of the things that happen in the game.
