Some things that can improve the gameplay experience significantly.
- Limiting animations to a 0.2-0.5 second duration
- Removing the “slow” effect on animations
- Allowing Block to “prevent crowd control”. This feature should have specific abilities that “cannot be blocked” and in general should never apply to “slows”
- Aiming does not zoom in on the camera. Meaning you stay in third person while aiming. This is a serious issue in mutateds for bow/musket users as we cannot see “ground effects” well. Having them spawn on us will likely kill us, if not very rapidly. All around this provides a negative experience to gameplay.
- Again for the 100th time, you should squish the defenses to being even closer to each other and reinvestigate the bonus’s to armor types. Shooting a light armor person for 6-12k as a bow users makes me feel unstoppable, and shooting a heavy armor user for 100-600 damage makes me feel useless. This is not good class design, no matter how much you try to validate it in your head. Armor penetration will not solve this problem, please trust me on this. You will spend years trying it to figure that out. Best to just squish and move on.
