Medium vs light

do you have any slash resist? your mit on that skyward nearly 0. holy

Didn’t know about that, so now light roll only advantage is distance I assume.

I don’t run any slash resistance can’t because bows and muskets hit too hard they will one shot without 30% thrust. I don’t think the damage is the issue with the great sword either damage is fine it’s the lunge that shouldn’t have hit me

yeh i thought so. ive been running 15 thrust 15 slash 10 ele on skitzo. but i also dont run 50 con

I run 30% thrust protection atm with 50 con xd. (8 Onyx and thrust protection amulet) Additionally I think for 50 con users divine is better than health on Amulet because it give more value.

I go back and forth between 50-100 con. depending on what my job is.

50 con really allow me to burst down my opponent much faster, and is way more risky but I enjoy it a lot.

As a fellow trickster player I would recommend putting your excess int into 150 dex. Extra mobility + more damage from the rapier. Considering you dont use grace tree just to create distance like most players do you could benefit from that plenty.

Btw you should still play Ultimate Chill. It works for ice damage from the gauntlet, only the aquamarine interaction is bugged so you’re better off with an Opal on your Rapier.

Happy hunting

Also medium iframes are easier to time than light armor.

The iframe for all load weight are now the same, light roll lock u into the animation longer so that is true, medium is easier to time the iframe and additionally less stamina consumption.

The reason why I am not using 150 dex is because of the crit chance increase and thrust damage increase, crit chance only benefit ice spike and my autos because entomb and storm will not crit. And I want to maximize my storm and spike damage that’s why I go all int. And since I am all int aquamarine give me more damage than opal because of the conversion and ice damage ring. As for Ultimate chill I am kinda in struggle, because it won’t benefit my rapier so I decide to go more survivability with cleansing tomb.

Rapier and spike are both crit reliant + you have DR to consider.

As long as Ultimate Chill doesn’t work with gems and you are using rapier instead of another pure int weapon you are pretty much losing value by putting the excess points into int instead of dex.

Plus of course the mobility from 150 perk which is huge for a glass cannon.

Then again I’m not gonna tell you how to play, but I highly recommend at least giving it a try.

I was originally playing with dex/int split but i eventually go the all int route. I think if going full dex/int the best combo is vg/rapier instead of ig. With Surgeon’s Ring you can unleased it full potential, it doesn’t have hearty but you don’t need it because of 150 dex, and vg benefit a lot from crit chance + least demanding on int so splitting it won’t affect by much.

Well I wouldn’t go for VG instead of IG in this particular case. Especially in the current Greatsword fiesta we have in small scale.

And Surgeons ring may soon be reworked into something different. Apparently damage perk + crit is supposed to be a either or choice and its a “bug” according to the devs. Thats why Maehgal or whatever its called got changed and probably the rest will follow.

True, or because hearty, slash dmg and keen awareness too op? Maybe it is an individual case.

Nah, Aenwyn said it in one of the threads that it shouldn’t be a thing… apparently. Although I find it hard to believe it was overlooked for so long.

I am consider trying 300 int and rest into con with the 2 perkers on markets with shirking fort + freedom. They are without resilient so pretty cheap on the market. And crafting legendary to hope them roll a 3rd perk and BIS if resilient.

Without resilient actually works in war, maybe is because shirking fort reduce all damages.

Healthy Toast would be a self heal, healing you receive, thusly benefiting from Divine perk and not impacted by Outgoing heals, wouldn’t it?

Well with my testing healthy toast heals count toward outgoing heal. You can test it simply by wearing medium and light weight armors.
