A lot of people on my server complain about the lack of population constantly and its causing people to quit. Not everyone is okay with a quickly shrinking population, especially on an already low pop server.
There are mergers happening on Legacy, please fast track it for Fresh Start with the lowest pop servers for each region to stop the bleeding. I feel instead, mergers will happen on Fresh Start after the holiday season and those that keep seeing all throughout the day “server is dead” will go from not paying attention to paying attention and not wanting to play anymore.
Again, not everyone is okay with really low populations. The majority isn’t, afterall its an MMO.
It is a bad situation. Our server peaks out at about 800 people, which isn’t the worst one of the bunch but it’s still getting essentially impossible to find a dungeon group.
What I fear is that AGS is misjudging the population which has shifted over to the fresh start servers. Perhaps they are expecting to open up transfers from FS to the legacy servers, so as to once again reunite the populations. If true, I think this is a huge miscalculation on their part. I think a lot of people on FS would rather just leave the game than transfer to a legacy - fresh start was the whole reason that many came back to the game in the first place. There’s no chance I’d transfer back.
