So NONE of the camp upgrade quests appear in game for me… I just started playing yesterday because i was told “they redid the leveling! it is so much better now!” and i am LEVEL 50 with a TIER 1 CAMP because NONE of these upgrade quests appear in game for me… not wilderness, not seeds, not friends in fashion… I am in Edengrove, I’m supposed to have a Tier 5 camp, but I’m hard stuck at Tier 1… And this was reported over a month ago and there still is not a fix for it?
Can we please get an educated guess or projection when this will be fixed? i at least want a Tier 2 camp…

I tried talking to Customer Service but the New World CS is just Amazon website CS (unless it bugged, i used the link the CM here keeps posting) and they had NO CLUE what New World even was xD

Camp Tier 1 Change to Camp Tier 2 - issue seems like fixed.

I would like to share the current update information that we just had. It seems that the error that was preventing the players to upgrade the camp to T2 has been solved. Please check and let me know.
Glad to hear that the issue was resolved with 1.7.2.
I looked at the German patch notes before and was disappointed that the issue remained but it seems that the fix is only mentioned in the English notes.
Tested on the 2 characters I know 100% had the tier revert from 2 > 1. With both was back to 2 and ‘animal instincts’ took both to tier 3. I have other characters at different tiers to try out but not in a hurry as the problem, seemingly, is fixed.
In my case the situation got worse. When I logged in on Monday (11/14), I found that my tier 2 camp downgraded to a tier 1. After logging in this morning post 1.7.2 update, now I don’t have any camp. Before I tried to deploy a camp and immediately upon logging in, it gave the typical notice “Your camp was abandoned. Place a new one.” Then when trying to deploy the camp, I get a “Camping Not Unlocked Yet” notice. Is there something I need to do because the prerequisite quest have already been completed. I am on the Isabella server where this is happening. This issue does not appear on my other characters on Yggdrasil or El Dorado.
Hope you are doing great! @chrisreutz In order to help with your issue I would suggest to run a steam files verification and re start the game Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files
Also try to search the next quest in the chain or go back to the last quest you did for the first camp,

So if we had done all quests and jad a tier 4 camp should it now be atier 5 or do we need to re run all the quest’s? I dont care i just want to know what i have to do tonight when i log in.
yes me & like 5 of my company mates are all stuck at tier 4 as we have no others quest to gain T5. we all had the camp upgrade to tier 2 for the 1st day & then revert back to the “no camping unlocked” when we logged back in the next day. & then it went down to a tier one on the 3rd day & since then we have been stuck with out that 1 upgrade at lvl 60 with a T4. Really starting to get annoying when you are trying to make a topaz potion on the fly & you have to ask others if you can have them put down a T5 for you to use or go to a city & then come back.
The the update was trying to solve this primary issue where some players were not able to upgrade the camp to T2 wich was related to many other cases like this
If this was not case for you either is a different bug or you can try to search for the quest 'Fading Lights" that will upgrade your camp to T5.
