what exactly was your intention?
cause to me, it was rather clear, and it did not leave a lot of room for misinterpretation.
after going through the feedback, do you really think that “just as many” enjoy grinding for hours to get entry to timegated content?
do you really think grinding for orbs is enjoyable, let alone a challenge?
and to be honest, no, i am not primarily looking for better communication on that topic.
i am looking for a change of developing direction: get rid of the orbs, get rid of timegated content.
Ah, I appreciate it! Goal is to keep the communication going! While I understand some see this as JUST a fluff post, it really is a chance for me to get to know everyone and for everyone to feel a bit more comfortable chatting. And to hopefully remind both sides that we’re all humans at the end of the day.
My intention was to just honestly say I don’t know the answer to your question but I’d be happy to bring it up with the devs that do? I’m happy to help bridge the gap between community and devs. As for the orb comment… I meant it in more of I do hear of those enjoying the orbs too and the challenge they feel it brings. I’m sorry you felt it lessened or negated the negative comments too. There are definitely strong feelings around this topic and the team is working hard to see what is a great balance for players.
Also, I super appreciate you being polite. I really do, even though this might sound sarcastic? Gosh, sometimes I hate text.

Sorry that you feel communication or any sort of conversation is nonsense. How about we work together and maybe it’s something that is brought up that CM comments don’t show up in the dev tracker?

I dont like coffee or tea but have recently gotten hooked on the C4 Smart energy drinks. They taste good and make me feel so good! Until I get sleepy later.

I’m honestly not sure as they didn’t provide as much detail as people tend to include when they are unhappy with something. I can and will absolutely look into and follow up with those people about the specifics on what they enjoy about it. I understand what you’re thinking, and you may be right. Just gotta collect the information and get to the bottom of it.

haha Orbs are just the hot topic of the moment, there will always be something new for us to complain about 
But seeing the CM community being proactive and just making random posts like us is great, hopefully it will make it so you can chat back and forth with the community without the instant toxicity.

But you clearly stated that only a few people are disappointed with orbs and everyone else is happy. This opinion despite 100’s of posts and many threads across all platforms complaining about them. The “quiet majority” are just not bothering logging onto the forums or the game to voice their disappointment.
We’ve already had the debate with the other CM’s about gathering feedback and getting a response but its always “I have sent this over to the team to look into, stay tuned to the news section for any updates”.
We never get official dev statement about any concerns or changes we’d like to see. Orbs is just one of them. Instead of talking about them they just add the rest of them to faction vendor. It doesn’t address the community concerns about the forced gating of the most popular activities in the game and the mind numbing 9-5 job of farming for them. Sure you will be able to buy 1 more per week from the faction vendor after you have grinded your tokens back up from using them on the time gated crafted orbs.
Another example, many raised concerns about the Expertise boxes flooding the markets with end game materials and at the same time, azoth shortages. What do the devs do ? No community blog on the matter they just nerf the number of Azoth vials dropped in these boxes.
Weapon balance - Rapier being OP with almost constant dodge-stun- iframing, Musket with its hitscan bs, greataxe nerfed to the point that most ranged just troll us by running circles round us. Not being able to weapon switch smoothly. No update at all on these concerns.
Bots ? Wait till next month… and so on and so on.
