Can you please look into having a midwest server. I dont care if the size would be smaller compared to west or east, a server is needed. I’m so tired of pinging off of either west or east and get terrible connections. It’s not my internet, its not my machine, its the lack of support. Literally cannot enjoy pvp or pve because the terrible pings I get from either side of the country. I’m sure there’s plenty of players from the midwest area, so just do it.

I’m in the Midwest and US-East was giving me 30-45 last year, but I frequently sit around 80-100 now with a lot of spikes/lag detected throughout the day.
I typically will sit at 60-80 but whenever pvp and it’s either opr or open world, there is such a delay that my skills wont function and a noticeable delay. Seems there’s like a 2 sec delay during fights of a lot of players. Truly unacceptable, but typical being in the midwest. Never shown any love…
I’m midwest as well. I usually have pings >80 to east coast. However, for the last week or two, it’s been in the 60s for the first time and it seems like it makes the world of difference. I don’t think 20ms should really matter, but my melee tracking has seemed to gone through the roof. I’ve gotten several >30 kill melee games in that last few days, which is something I’ve never been able to do before.
Bad Connection to AGS Server seems to be a global Problem, even Germans sitting next to Frankfurt experience this.

I agree it’s just AGS… But I mean it really shouldn’t be an issue, but it still is. If they would take as much time with performance, etc as they do designing their extravagantly colored skins, maybe the servers would be adequately functioning.
We Turkish players play with in game 80-100 ping ms where it might be higher when more players around… AGS should open a server in Turkey too really. Current EU servers affect our gameplay a lot which is not enjoyable really.
At other mmorpgs, even while doing 200 people fights in open world, we don’t have such ping problems. Only at New World, we experience this problem and we asked AGS to open a server in Turkey but they never reply back…
