Describe the issue you are experiencing: All started after the patch 1.05.
After mining a mine startmetal/Orichalcum, the vein does not shown spawn. Only a relog will show the mine repawn. (Normaly after 10-20 min).
After patch, Orichalcum mines has stoped giving legendary loot for me. Several people in the company are geting more then just ore. But farming now for 3 days and after 17,5K ore (~20 hours farming), I yet to see any. My mining luck chance are: 32,7% + foodbuff and 3 houses with minor. We have compaired the data in the company and I have higher luckchance then the other, still nothing. Is this because I only farm 3-4 places in the world maybe?

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Check if maybe there is a bug with some items not giving the % luck as said. As you know you need x luck to get these items. I have however changed the set two times just to make sure it’s not buged items.

I have farmed a total of 31 000 Orichalcum ore since the patch. Still have 0 void ore.
Please dev. Do I need to make a new charater to get those?

I think im going to take a break from “New” world. I find it hard to belive that my 6 hours grinding today is worth nothing. So sad to see you break the game just for someone. Everyone I talk to finds them, but not me.
Stopped giving ALL legendary mats, or specifically just void ore? Your post kind of transitions a bit. Judging by how you type you come off as very erratic and nonsensical. Why would the mats be tied to the location you’re mining them in? Why would you need to make a new character? Compose yourself and make a concise post that is legible instead of making several rambling posts that highlight how scattered you are. Sorry your LUCK isn’t allowing you to get the exact drops you want in a defined period of time, but making it seem like a personal attack from the devs is very childish. You should also take a look in the forum for the main thread associated with mining luck. The search function is your friend.
Thanks for replying. FYI I search the forum every day for mining topics, however I yet to see it addressed in any bug release or report. It might by selfish to only address my self on this topic. Reason is that there is only this way to communicate to staff.

@wdog For your next post, try looking at this as a positiv view, you clearly replyed to try creating a toxic thread.
As someone who has dived heavily into the odds of items by creating simulations and going through the loot tables. 44% is awfully low which tells me you either aren’t giving the correct values for your luck or that you don’t understand what values to give.
To explain void ore odds, it takes a roll of 101800 where you roll a max of 1-10000. That means you need a minimum 18% luck just for a chance to get a chance to roll on the void ore. Yes that roll doesn’t even guarantee you void ore. You need to roll a second time on 100001. Now if you were to max everything out that would give you 113.82% mining luck. Which gives you a 1.09% chance for void ore. So at 44% that gives you .11% which yeah I can believe not getting any void ore with that.
If you need help figuring out your luck value I would be happy to help you just need to list everything you are using for mining. Also keep in mind trophies don’t work if the taxes are not paid. So take a look and maybe you might find you just need better gear.
good luck, for me it take 1400 food luck, 15% mining luck armor buff to get single sliver of adderstone from boulder at least one per hour picking.
Before that i already tried 3 hour with 15% mining luck and no ever get single one addrestone.

I gave advice on how to improve his post to get his point across better, and I directed him to the main mining luck thread, yet this is taken as negativity and “toxic” behavior. Yeah you need to increase your luck, if you have 44% with gear + pick + 3 houses. That is it. Void ore is one of the hardest materials to get so you want to pump up that luck. My advice would be the void ore you get sell. On my server I think it was going for 5k per ore. Take that 5k and buy max mining gear. Also you need an amulet and food. Max amulet and food give 9% and 20% that is 30% you are missing on. Trophies also can get you a huge boost. The highest you can get right now is basic which gives you a 1000 luck so total that would be 30% with 3. With decent gear, amulet, minor trophies, tool and max food that gets you 9500 luck or 95% which will give you a .74% chance at void ore. This amount of luck is very easy to obtain.
Really gathering is another min/maxing like pve gear so your best bet is get the best gear you can. I have found decent mining gear for 100g shit stats but I dont care about that. So you need to check the TP regularly. Then once you get a void ore sell it and use that profit to max out your your luck.
As someone who farm adderstone regularly I can tell you you can get some really bad luck with it. The reason for this is adderstone shares a roll with adamant. Since it shares this roll you have no control over what you get. You could have 10000% mining luck and still not get adderstone because the odds will always be 50/50. Now 50/50 isnt bad but having no control is. So every time you see that you got an adamant know you won the roll but lost the 50/50. I have lost the 50/50 5 times in a row. I had to flip a really coin which gave me heads 7 times out of 10 just to regain my sanity.
People like to look for patterns it is just how we are. We also like to think things are against us but really it is just all RNG. Sometimes it favors us, sometimes it doesn’t. Also I would get that mining luck up. In an hour I can farm 3 adderstone if I dont hit the adamant.
Isn’t 1000 luck 1% instead of 10%? Him having 44% isn’t as low as you think it is because your numbers are out of whack.
No it is not it is a 100. 1% = 100. The reason 44% is low though is because it takes a roll of 101800 out of 100000. So that means just to win that roll you need 18% luck. So basically what ever luck you have subtract 20% from it.
Just for some reference. 44% would only give you .11% chance at void ore which means you have about a 1 in a 1000 chance. However if you have 95% total luck you have a .74% chance that is a 1 in 135 chance. That is a huge difference. So use food, use the best gear you can, use trophies because it makes a difference.
