It says here AGS allows them.
Looks really cool, let’s wait for an official statement . Don’t tell me about compass and shit when nothing appears on my compass till I m literally 1meter away lol. Imagine that you have a minimap so you don’t need to open your M every time you spawn in war or anything
ye that sucks hard af, most spots known out of memory but still having everything above 200 and cant see it on the great compass…

I’ve been using the Overwolf map for New World since they released it. Here’s some things to note.

New World staff have stated numerous times they are allowed.

Even if they said it wasn’t allowed there’s no way they could detect it running as it’s just another program running on your pc. They’d have to physically hack your pc to see you’re running it. It simply collects API data the game puts out to display your location.

Many do-gooder white knights will probably attack this thread. Just ignore the chaff.

Once you install Overwolf and the map plugin press Alt+M to close the in game mini-map that shows nothing but your player location and then press Alt+B to open a full version in a browser page that you can filter what nodes to and not to display.

It’s more about not being banned for shit like that. I’m going to wait for what the devs have to say, because my Poland Suport said it’s not legal and you can get a ban on it.

They have said numerous times. But you do you.
They allowed this like over 100 times already. This is 100% legit and legal and allowed and fine and usable.
inb4 some creep will pop out of nowhere claiming AGS never allowed this because of some reason where they consulted the davinci code and hidden messages in the bible to conclude this.

Yeah absolutely bro.
They don’t ban people for duping or teleporting. I doubt they’ll care about a map function.
