Mining Bots caught in action and recorded, all on Youtube

Hi All,

Below is my YouTube channel showing in game recordings of mining bot in action on our server… This bot on received a 1 week ban after first video, that’s right folks “1 WEEK ONLY” I have called AGS 4 times to report this issue, each time they ensure something will be done… As you can all see, its active and still running… Several others on server have also seen this bot as well.

After my last call yesterday with AGS they still have not done anything after catching it in action with video proof…

AGS does not care about bots, their only focus is nerfing the bow and adding time consuming grinding.

Hahahah! This is hilarious! Do you think that the bots will be banned because you caught one of them with video evidence? I have at least x10 video recordings with ten different bots gathering starmetal/orichalcum at different areas and the bots ARE STILL THERE even if i have reported them for weeks.

By the way, the bots never go offline.

It was banned for 1 week after the first video and report… but a 1 week ban is ludicrous and stupidity… should always be permanent like other mmos. even back in 99 with EQ they always banned permanently for botting… SOE was good for that at least…

OMG, I remember EQ…what a game, what a time. Unbeatable :slight_smile:
And I also remember there were GMs you could interact with. They helped in many ways and bots/cheaters or “toxic” people got warned clearly and got permanently banned if cought a second time. SOE was realy tough in this aspect !..exemplary
AGS could learn so much from former MMOs.

This a gathering starmetal bot among many other on Valhalla that got stuck and cannot proceed to gather even more starmetal which is fine with me :smiley:

Wish i could find a way to get all the bots stuck.

Another one on Valhalla but this one is more evolved because it stops any activity after gathering if it detects players in the vicinity then it resumes after a short while.

They do not give a shit. I literally sent in a video of the dominant companies who won pretty much the entire map through exploits having around 10+ gathering bots run up to him and hand him off stuff then run off to farm more. Their response was for me to go report every one individually. Even though all the names are in the video.

The fact there has been nothing but “we ensure you we are working on this” type of response with no action at all really concerns me. I have reported the same 2 mining bots 10-15 times, once a day and every day I log in quickly to see if they are still there and they are. I won’t play this game beyond a quick log in to check and report, and my asmo cooldown until this is fixed.

I would like some transparency on what is being done on this. But I won’t hold my breath.

Shame, I really liked this game.

WoW also had GMs that would talk to you in-game etc. There was even a GM Island. But when the game gets that big it is almost impossible to keep GMs active when they get flooded with support tickets.

My advice:

  1. Collect lots more videos of bots.

  2. Create a YouTube channel dedicated to New World bots and marvel at how many people enjoy watching bots go about their business.

  3. Monetize the channel and make history by attracting more subscribers than all the “pro gamers” combined.

  4. Sip daiquiris from crystal goblets while surrounded by friends on the deck of your new yacht off the coast of the Caribbean island you just bought.

The beauty of this foolproof plan is that you make more money than the thousands of New World botters while performing a valuable public service, all while expanding the online gaming video paradigm and being celebrated as a visionary in the process.

I can confirm that the bot in my videos was in fact banned, not sure for how long though…

you need to forget about bots at all…the developers really don’t want to lower the online population of this game
I’ve sent a huge amount of report about this problem . they don’t care

remember , more bots = more online on almost dead servers

Guess what… Bot is back after its 3rd 1 week ban… AGS defiantly wont perma-ban, they dont care about the state of their game… Uploading video 5 done today over a 9 hr period… Looks like the farmer is moving from time to time, but you can clearly see they are un-attended still…
