Missing Content: Group Adventure

I was severely disappointed with the lack of group activities available in this “MMO” (besides force on force PvP). I started playing and got a couple friends to play as well. I was disappointed to discover when we were in a party we did not have a synchronized town board or even faction board. What is the point of playing with friends if we are all running to different parts of the world so I can kill 8 sheep and he can grab some blueberries?

I was even further disappointed when our third friend joined and we were questing with him. He was one quest behind us but that quest required walking through a foggy doorway (instance) to fight a miniboss and we couldn’t even go with him, we just sat around outside twiddling our thumbs while our friend was fighting for his life.

The game just feels empty when it comes to PvE group content and it is not good, sure you can get some friends together and do expeditions and invasions (if they aren’t already being farmed by a crew of level 60’s) but there is no sense of party adventure and I feel like my friends and I are just sitting in Discord doing our own thing. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Things I would recommend as a start would be:

  1. Syncing mission boards for parties (or adding a new section for “group missions”).

  2. Allowing party members to share quest objectives and participate in all parts of quests, even if they have been completed previously. (This could of course be abused if a low level joins party with a level 60 who just blasts bosses, this could be countered with things like scaling but it would take a lot more work so I don’t expect that to be implemented. It should be the responsibility of the player if they want to enjoy and play the game or just be carried)

I think these 2 additions would be a great start and logical for game functionality, especially the option to do faction board missions together…we are the same faction after all.

Thanks for reading and hope to hear some constructive feedback in the comments!

PS - please let me manage my inventory while I’m walking for 10 minutes from one place to the other. I don’t understand why I have to turn 180 degrees and stop moving in order to look at my gear.
