Mob Damage Types

I am curious of a few things

  1. Which mobs do void damage? I know in pvp you can do void damage through the use of slotting gems but there are void damage resist perks and I don’t think it makes sense for that to be a purely pvp thing. Maybe included perks for the Void Gauntlets?

  2. Is there a way to figure out which mobs do what kind of damage? I know there’s fire and ice elemental damage but is there a guide or list of what kind of damage each does? (Example: Do Angry Earth mobs do Nature damage?)

  3. Are the damage absorption perks worth using over any other perk? Is the damage absorption percentage noticeable compared to not having it?

Same question here. Is it possible that this is not known?

Which damage type do Corrupted enemies do at the portals?

I wonder how to configure my armor gems.

Would be interested in this as well.

As there are potions to reduce specific damage Types

enemies that say ethereal do void damage if you look at a mob it will say ignited or some other damage term. and yes some angry earth do nature damage such as the archers or shamans.
if you are in war and they have fire staff, IG, life staff, Bow or any ability that says it deals a additional type of elemental damage it helps protect against it decently and is noticeable but unreliable as it overrides better perks or buffs.

So in conclusion, if the enemy has an elemental affix, they deal that specific damage Type.

If enemys dont have an elemental affix they deal physical damage (besides of Special skills).

Where do corrupted fit then?

they are the exact same as all other mobs. if they have a affix and depending on that affix they do that kind of damage. IE brute with ignited will do additional fire damage with their attacks.

Now what “affix” means?

its the words right under the enemy name that say ignited, slicer, frozen, ethereal, etc etc.
