Mob respawn timer is insane

im a solo player and im forced to fight 1vs 40 mobs in the village. wth …

I have been in areas alone, and the respawn rate is still insane in some spots

Yeah I was just in some fort in the level 30ish area (can’t remember the name) and there were dogs that were literally respawning every 30-40 seconds. Couldn’t get anything done. Absolutely silly.

I gets worse, a lot of quest want you to kill a named mob or loot something…
By the time you clear out mobs by the objective they respawn right on top of you

Totally agree with you here respawn timer is beyond acceptable,especially for low level layers who will find it quite hard especially if they are using a man focused build.Well said hopefully they do something about this.

I think that is the idea… you know to make certain missions and places ,group efforts…

And then there is the opposite, with the named onces, that takes about 10 min to respawn. To me, it’s clear that those in charge and/or the developers aren’t gamers. Atleast not multiplayer games. Who ever thought it was a good idea, to give the named mobs such a long respawn timer, should be fired, and not work in the industry. They are clearly clueless.
Then add in, you don’t get credit ½ the time, when you fight them. Another thing that is ridicules, is. Someone can just run past you, and you get the mobs aggro.
I have been questing in an area where i’m 7-8 levels higher than the mobs, and i still aggro them from so far away. Fix the game

Yes Great Cleave respawn time is way way to fast. Kill one mob onto the next and the one you just killed respawns lol

Same problem in lush hideaway. I am killing the dryads quickly, move forwards to the next one, but at this point i have to push past overwise the mob i just killed will respawn behind me and start twatting away.

Then add in the game is designed for you to move/roll around, which will make you aggro even more, with the insane aggro range. It dosen’t seem like much testing/thought have gone into aggro and respawn

I was standing upstairs, inside a building, as a level 51, in an area with level 50 mobs. Mobs just keept comming, i have no idea from where, but 2 groups came, from somewhere, while i was up there. If you design a game like this, you aren’t competent enough to work on an mmo. But the time i had killed the last group and skinned the 2 animals. For some wierd reason a sheep also though it should come up there! The mob that was up there, respawned. This seriosuly needs to be fixed

This is still an issue and I would like to see this addressed quickly. This makes the game completely unenjoyable. You have 6 fast spawning mobs around a quest target (altar in The Bite in GC). It’s ridiculous.

I am all for group play, but do that by making actual mobs challenging, simply borking the respawn timers is a terrible way to incentivize groups, it just makes things seem broken. Even in a group I find it annoying when we are being swarmed by the same respawning enemies every 30s.

And SWTOR just update their tagging (take credit for kill) system: Just need in the same faction to get credit for most kills, and no faction rule if it the world boss; more important, healer just need to heal any of the attacker that deal dam to to the target and still get credit for kill(s).
All the while i still don’t how much dam i need to unleash to get credit for the kill in NW lol.

Don’t sleep on the “low level” areas also. On a new character, at level 18, I had to go to a Farm in Monarch’s Bluff to kill FIVE “Lost” enemies on my Fire/Ice Mage, pretty reasonable right? These mobs are SO close knit to each other, 25-50m away from them, you’re aggroing another 2-3 mob pack on top of the initial mob you are fighting if they even look your way. At level 18 defeating Level 20 Lost is manageable, however, the time it took for them to die, disappear and the other mobs who were killed 10-20 seconds earlier, RESPAWN and rush to join in from down stairs where I was fighting x3 mobs upstairs near a Supply Chest. Now, I have x5 mobs, 3 who are down by 1/2 HP, and 2 who are 100% HP smacking the life outta me while I’m trying to Ice Pylon, Ice Storm and Ice Shower, switch to Fire Staff and Fire Ball AoE the ground for DoT effects for all of them just to survive all the while popping Common Heath Potion’s. It was a disaster. By the time I just killed 5 and then some b/c of unknown/absurd aggro reasons, I ran away for the fear of my life, like if Michael Myers popped out of the closet chasing me down stairs. By then, I had a trail of 6 mobs chasing me, but, I got away unscathed.

Not to mention the absurd AGGRO range is ridiculous in this game, especially any mob who’s a Archer. Oh, 50m away think ur safe? Not from a Ancient Archer. That enemy will hunt you down like Predator in the jungle. What is this “aggro box” in this game where I’m that far away and just have a village of mobs chasing after me? What did I do to provoke your “joy joy feelings” where you needed to shoot me with a Arrow. Let’s not forget our Musket pals in GC/SM either, the detection range on the mobs is further than 50m, I’m clocking ~75m distance and I’m getting shot by 1.2k dmg from a NPC Musket enemy. (insert “oof” voice). And they continuously pursue you and even have other mobs shoot at you as they are running by their other Musket friends even when YOU are not. Why? Do they signal their buddies to shoot at you? How is it I’m that far away and the initial Musket enemy that’s shooting at me, have 2-3 OTHER non-aggroed Musket enemies shooting me also? What’s going on here. I don’t get it, even at L60 on my main character. The aggro detection range and mob respawn times NEEDS to be ADJUSTED.

Yeah, this is seriously the biggest issue for me and my wife currently. Making us not want to play. Completely out of hand.

Great Cleave village respawn timers where there are 4 mobs at the only entrance (the gate) is way too fast to get the quests done.

Drag them around the corner to try and bunch them up, but by the time you’ve killed them and healed up they respawning.

Get inside and 4 archers fire at you, which also respawn quickly. Managed to kill them? There is a looong timer on placing the explosives (which kill you if you’re in range when it goes bang, by the way) during which mobs respawn…

Just needs a little tweeking. These are side quests and should be soloable.

Even worse, had a mage around who aggro’d everything then when he either dies or runs away the mobs all make a bee line for me…

Surprised there is literally nothing on the Known Issues about the insane respawn timers for trash mobs EVERYWHERE in the world. Literally impossible to quest in areas that are your own level unless you have INSANE damage resistance or INSANE aoe dps.

I’m trying to do The Ritual quest which is part of the main story line and the boss I have to kill for it has 6 ads just to reach him and then 3 more in the little room with him. By the time I clear the adds insides the room, the ads outside have already respawned and kicking my ass while the boss is shooting his fucking magic at me. And if I kill the boss first then the ads, The boss will respawn by the time I get into the room, loot the chest and enter the portal I need to go through, which interaction resets every time you get hit. So fuck you if you’re trying to do this solo.
