Mobs not tag based?

Is there a reason for this? It is incredibly frustrating sitting for 15 mins to wait for 1 mob to spawn, kill it and then someone else runs up and skins, meaning you have to sit around another 15 minutes due to the really low spawn rate. I get it’s an MMO, but then please up the spawn rate.

Gonna have to agree with this but for a different reason, this games skinning and looting system needs to be altered I’m tired of pulling 4-5 wolfs spending 4-5 minutes killing them by myself because I’m a healer with very little to no damage only to have someone with faster skinning skill come along and take 3/5 hides because they can skin them faster than me.

It’s stupid I tagged the mob first and did most of the work killing it so why do other people get my loot/experience?

I agree that the tagging system needs some work. No one else should be able to skin someone else’s kill unless it has been abandoned. That might mean left unskinned for 2 minutes, or the player moving more than 20m away or something.

But it’s also the amount of damage needed to “claim” a kill. I’ve killed plenty of things with my low damage life staff, only to have someone else come along and do more damage - even one-shot a mob if they’re high enough level - so I don’t even get credit for it. It’s worse when there are groups or multiple players involved and you’re solo.
