I think the game really needs a monthly free transfer token.
Many players currently are having issues joining up with friends, due to locked servers.
I had a friend buy the game 2 weeks ago, only to have my server lock that day.
Most players stay on the high pop servers for FOMO of being locked out of the servers.
It’s a perpetuating cycle that leaves Low pops always low, and Highs pops always high and locked.
If everyone had a monthly transfer token, companies would feel freer to transfer to a lower population if necessary.
Right now, it would cost over $400 for my company to transfer. That’s insane!
People are saying some servers have many returning accounts, and when brimstone sands launches it will be flooded.
So, the only option if my server gets a very high queue, is to have my company pay over $400, just to play the game?
I feel it’s wrong to punish poor players with a price tag, just to play the game they already bought. $15 is way to high to transfer servers for the purpose of being able to play the game. I understand $15 if it was just to take advantage of another servers economy, but to just be able to play the game with my friend I already bought, you want $15 more?
Something has to change because the poor design of the servers just punishes players themselves, forcing them to pay out of pocket for that poor design.
Giving a monthly token would make the worlds even out naturally and give a much better experience to the average player. Also those players who see $15 as a very high price wouldn’t feel disadvantaged to play the game.
