Suggestion to make background chatter etc among townsfolk to give it a more realistic feel.
At the moment all you hear is footsteps. It’s weird.
Also I think you should add npc shops to be able to sell our items that don’t sell well in the market so we can at least get some gold for it, and again to give a more realistic and lively town vibe.
Add npcs that walk around

Also if you salvage items you get some money, so here is that.
Some jovial npcs in the tavern would be nice. You go in there and it’s pretty dead for a tavern.
I agree, I was thinking the same thing.
During the day it can be slightly empty, but in the evening it can be full of loud patrons
