Another tip : Incense also helps alot vs acid ( strong incense is almost free and get you up to 90/90 acid resistance ). Purifying toast also takes burn out and reset your acid resistance ( you need to be burning )

Yeah he is right. Even without the pearls the difference is minimal. Like he said WITHOUT any luck gear or trophies, you have a 7% chance to get a scarab. WITH FULL LUCK LOADOUT it is 7.41%. So no difference at all. I run all chitin plates. Made life so much easier. I got 3 scarabs today.

I solo elite areas and do them with friends. I want to do this type of long form route alone and with friends.

Op, my gear with acid padding is ready 
Incense works very well even without any padding and ofc having purifying toast is important for emergencies. The tinctures are way too expensive to make for 300s.
You may have mentioned all this, I’ve not watched it but my friend has (or one similar) and we’re going to run this together sometimes.

thank you for sharing this method, I do it today solo with this video .but not received golden scarab .I remember getting 2 days ago in chest run I found golden scarab .but yes it’s 2% or 7% chance you can get golden scarab. I want to try tomorrow again, I hope will be work : D
yeah today was the first day i didnt get one ether some times i get like three to four just depends if im lucky but i have gotten the most from this route so just keep trying and im sure you will get one or more eventually

luck is whack in this game forsure
Luck isn’t for things like this. It’s basically for trophy mats, certain named items, furnishing schematics and I think cooking recipes.

yeah ur right luck works better on those items but still very underwhelming have 3 majors and dont see much of a difference
Are you aware of a list that covers everything?
That’s mainly just because trophy mats have a 0.5% chance of dropping normally. 3 major loot luck trophies brings that up to 0.95%. PvP flag adds 1% Full set of Luck Armor and weapons with pristine pearls @ 625 adds another ~3.4%. Basically, the maximum possible amount of luck gets you to about 5.5% chance of getting a trophy mat, so maybe 1 in every 19 Supply Stockpiles or Ancient Chests. And most people aren’t actually running that much luck.

Nothing so easy. The Dev Blog on Luck is the best thing out there at present before you start getting into the data files.
But even that is a little convoluted and unclear. A much better explanation is contained here, from one of the data miners
TL:DR is that loot falls into two categories- things that are heavily affected by luck (AddtoRoll tables) and things that luck has such a small affect on as to be non-existent (ClampMax tables). If you can determine what table an item falls into, you can check this site to see which one it is:
