Great list, some other thing that could be added :
Better Ui for all crating station with more visibilty and visual for each category of item and what would be unlocked on each
Transmog crafting station
The option on map to hide the faction color that cover all area to add better visibility on the map and help people with sight problems distinguish thing
Flintlock pistol because why do we not have them ? Pirate enemy already use them
One Iāve heard from a couple people in my server is a slight increase in Azoth cap. A lot of people have complained about crafting a couple items traveling to craft those items and being drained quickly. Seen a couple numbers like 2,000, but I think even 1,500 would be well balanced, still able to do what you need with some leftover.
On the topic of sea content, a cool PvP idea would be Sea Fortresses or Sea Towers that net the winning faction or company some sort of benefit. A little tough though to implement now without swimming.
Iāve also seen a couple complaints about, what I would think a minor, movement buff for roads with PvP. A couple balances for that could be only receiving the buff after a few seconds on the road/after not receiving damage for a few seconds, and even more so could just disable it for PvP with the slight road movement increase really just being for slightly faster long distance travel method especially when youāre out of Azoth or have nowhere to fast travel to. As is, people often just cut through the land and just outrun the mobs. This would greatly increase the activity on roads and would help make the game feel more alive too. This would also probably make roads a PvP hotspot too (assuming itās allowed while PvP is enabled) creating possible ambushes etc. as weāve already seen hiding in bushes can be extremely effective.
I may have missed it, but I would like to add a true transmog / wardrobe system so we can keep the look of certain skins, like our faction armor as we upgrade
All great ideas imo. Only thing id add is to change the ways ore nodes work, i feel very bottle necked by iron especially and on my server i ore is 1 gold each at its cheapest. maybe ore should be per player like the bee hive in towns?
Given how the UI can bug quite often, I think that a great QOL improvement would be a simple āreload UIā button in the menus. Having to relaunch the client can be intolerable on some high population servers.
Itās too bad AGS wiped the forums after each stage of alphas and betas because you could add a timestamp to many important QoL and bug fix requests going back more than a year.
Building a list holds them accountable a little bit but some of you have no idea how frustrating it is to re-read the same suggestions being repeated that go way back to the start. Sure there are some people who want to talk in their own threads about 'em regardless. But there are players burning their energy and thought into this that wouldnāt waste their time if they saw a catalogue of suggestions already made, what date and a column showing if thereās a dev response or roadmap for them.
I think it would be nice to also include the āFix overtaxing CPU & GPUā stuff which weāve been reporting on since beta and is still a major issue for a lot of poepleās systems.
Also, a lot of us would like inn travel reduced from the hour it currently is, and the ability to fast travel from anywhere, not just from towns and shrines.
New Tradeskill: Foraging - So many things we pick up that we get no exp for. In a game that gives you exp for literally everything, not getting anything for digging up some saltpeter feels a little strange. (Of course all of that could just be rolled into gathering which would make some sense but this feels like a deliberate choice to not have it within gathering so this is my alternative)
And to add to what Rayvana said (good post @Rayvana), its hard to argue that this is a game geared toward group play when there are very few mechanics in game right now which foster playing with friends. You canāt share quests, you canāt get the same quests (outside of MSQ), ect. Frankly, this game feels VERY much like a single player game where you maybe sometimes group up with other folks. Even the big events like war⦠most people will not be asked to participate in those.
More group PvE content. Maybe a quest giver that gives group quests. Let the group members see the group quests not just the person who starts the quest. Scale it to the lowest member of the group. Let everyone get rewards when itās turned in.
I just want to run about with a couple of my buddies, doing quests together and chatting on Discord. Thereās currently no real incentive to group up for PvE unless we are doing dungeons, and that doesnāt work if weāre looking for a more casual experience that evening.
Very nice list and effort putting it together. Iāve wanted to see icons to show equipped weapons on each group member as a part of the group display for a while (name and health is great and all, but it needs more), and suggested it in every test along with displaying the character level. It wouldnāt hurt to show weapon level as a part of the icon either.
Oh and the store skins need to be able to be dyed just like weapons and armor itself.
