Have you ever considered that a bad product will make most people angry? So we have angry people because of a subpar product with these forums as an outlet. You can see where I’m going.
Given the money amazon has there’s not a lot of wiggle room in putting out substandard stuff. They hyped the living dogshit out of this game. People bought it on the premise that it would be a good quality product with a class A development and support team behind it. Instead what we got is a complete shit UI with the QOL of a dumpster behind a Chinese dive restaurant. We got copy/paste everything from zones to mobs. We got an ill thought out crafting leveling system…on and on and on. People are tired of it. People are venting where they can. Me included.
You do realize that anybody can Flag your Posts? Not just the Creator of the Post. All you guys getting so mad, and losing your minds with your incoherent gibberish is the exact example of the Toxic Posts that is adding nothing to success of this game or the Games Community. Just like the big Companies that Bully their Servers and by doing so kill their own Servers and ruin the Player Base. Then turn and blame Amazon for a Dead Server.

Are you saying that if we are burnt out with our kids its okay to step away for awhile? Are you saying its okay to escape life when your kids are whining? Why are the kids whining so much that you get burnt out and have to escape them?
It has to be - it’s a large game which started off, and still does, giving huge power to PvP players. PvP players are the MOST toxic players in gaming. New World is competing with the likes of Rust and League of Legends (where in-game chat for randoms is literally disabled) for toxicity.
Lay with PvP players, get coated in toxic residue.

OP, there are a lot of us chill folks just like y’all. Like other games with rocky launches, they will go away eventually (or the game will shut down like so many have predicted).
ever played cs1.6? xbox live lobbys? barrens in vanilla wow? you didn’t play back then if you believe everyone was nice.
I havn’t heard the amount of N-Words of a single xbox live day in years after that. you’re wrong or only played singleplayer games if you believe it was different.
I’d agree life has become more and more fast paced. Players no longer want a 5m flight path, daily quest, or to farm the same mob for days to months for that 0.01% drop.
Players no longer enjoy the grind for the big payoff. Even if they no-life voidbent they soon burn out. The dupes prove that people don’t want to grind. They want handouts in order to meme the game.
MMOs are a dying breed. I swear everyone I’ve met claims to have ADHD or something similar these days. They get bored or listen to media and we all know negative media sells not positive. The grind is real but players want QoL.
