Movement Ice Gauntlet *Quick Shower* bug

****** Please make sure you fill out the following information before submitting a report ******

Note: This shows not one, but TWO players walk “through” an ice wall (Quick Shower) with a enemy NPC and we appear to inherit the debuff as well within the Ice Wall, then get the movement bug. This shows video before it happens, then immediately after as well, so there is no what-ifs about it.

  • What is your character name in New World: Converge
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Ferri
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I am about 110% this bug involves being hit with an ice gauntlet/wall.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: It’s basically making the game unplayable. This bug affected me and a teammate in my video.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: You have to log out for 3 minutes. Even exiting a war or OPR does not fix the issue, or teleporting, etc.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Video to be included.
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I’ve replicated this bug (inadvertently being hit with an ice wall and attempting to jump or movement ability out of it). You can see this occur at the 14-second mark of the video. Thank goodness for the Nvidia Shadow Play, right?

The ice wall was casted by your teammate, so you are reffering to the “Quick Shower” skill, which will grant a 25% movement boost to every ally who moves through the ice wall?
Im just want to be sure its not another thread in which i have to read that a skill which is intended to root enemys actually root enemys.

Actually rewatching it, you’re right. It was Nakula’s. I think the factor here being the enemy NPC was in the Quick Shower, so instead of inheriting the buff, we inherited the debuff along with the enemy NPC and it died before the debuff wore off, or something therein.
