Just a bystander here but I found this on the forums detailing the hatchet animation cancel exploit:

This has not been patched, it only requires the use of a script to make normal canceling faster
in that video it shows zero evidence of anything wrong going on in there. just a small lag of multiple people ganging on you that results in a aftermath of 4k+ damage which is common in wars and 2nd, there’s zero people using hatchets and that bug was patched since then. if you get more evidence post more but please make sure to post something more reliable as the health bars could just be a simple visual bug.
This happened on OPR too, cause of the current lag and delay in server, ice storm hit like a machine gun after my game resync with server, died instantly lol
Thanks Crum, that exploit is what i’m talking about (one of the 2 i saw from the enemy, namely RFT and Leoninus for starting), but mysteriously some ppl just don’t want to understand me

The basic problem from the passive “when surrounded” buffs is still in place. It’ll continue stacking.
The main issue is that Amazon doesn’t properly recheck and recalculate events/triggers to reset the character status. One other basic easy to see evidence is when you’re wearing a regeneration earring and you don’t regenerate until you take it off and put it back on. These are all tied to the game not properly determining when effects should stay on or end on characters.
More likely than not, Amazon relies on conditionals to determine when something should be dropped, but due to the endless “hiccups”, this condition when it occurs passes and then the game never rechecks for it to remove or add an effect.
The game does need a “reloadui” function. But on top of that, the game does need to do a periodic inventory of effects and make sure they are still valid on characters since it’s obviously missing triggers.

The cheats and exploits have gone on so long without any action by the devs to ban cheaters that all Wars are suspect. Now it’s a shitshow of he-said-she-said and if we aren’t there already, it’ll be false mass reporting.
AGS should have turned off Wars until it could be moved to a PTS for testing there.
Or at the very least it should have been separated from Settlement control so cheaters and exploiters can’t take Settlements that way. Then AGS could tell everyone it was okay to use lag exploitation back and forth since it would have no server-wide effects, and they can continue to use the code they inserted in 1.0.3 to monitor things. And everyone would be on a more even playing field.
But instead, they just let cheater and exploiters take all settlements and screw up whole servers.
@Luxendra kindly inform the devs this debacle is on their heads, in how they handled lag exploitation.

1 PLAYER can turn the tide of the battle. I wonder why Leoninus targeting our main tank… maybe he knows (as the other cheaters) if they remove the key players, the defense will collapse in no time. Exactly as happened.
That is the animation cancel, probably the least useful exploit out of all the ones we have seen so far, I’m a Hatchet/GA main and outperform every single one of these animation cancellers in wars because it’s just not good. Hatchet is just a dogshit weapon in comparison to others and the animation cancel barely makes that better. Also just to note, Reekwater war, as said multiple times, is/was not Umbra.

Ewira (another hatchet main) said exactly the same and we even tested the true DPS on a moving target with and without cancel in duels and there was no difference at all. He doesn’t even have the throwing axes talented. Hatchet animation cancel is more like a personal preference thing, I guess for some people it’s more fun to put in extra effort practicing something more complex than LMB, doesn’t make it broken though. If it’s a macro yes, fuck that shit, but standard anicancel is like a dodge roll cancel and nobody complains about that.
Yeah i can see it thou quality is too low and i can only read the first latter “L” on his name. Also if you wanna report someone in the future:
Mods who read reports don’t have time to go through 30 mins of a footage. I would pull it out of the recording into short minute long clips.
And try to find them isolated when macro’ing not when they are clumped up into a zerg. Make someone with better GPU to record the videos if you want to report people, i been sending clips to amazon and they said that they are getting a lot of reports like this. That is a visul bug and its everywhere, if you restart your game it gets fixed. Been in the game for a while now. You can test it yourself. After seen that relog and you will see their true hp. It extends the “max size” or the bar not the actualy hp number. Im sure everyone has seen it once. Especially healers will notice this the most, hp bars are not accurate because of this visual glitch and makes it hard to judge if someone lost hp or not.
Guys, no need to feed this guy more attention when he clearly doesn’t have the same experience regarding game pvp knowledge along with the current problematic abusive bugs and exploits. It is pointless.
He is clearly not here to understand and learn, he just wants his settlement back.

I still don’t understand why the name “Umbra” was dropped, when all you’ve been talking about so far was the Reekwater war, which we weren’t a part of.
Voidbent isn’t that great for war. Its elemental to physical damage resistance is scuffed. Also if your hit by a multitude of different combos without sufficient heals you’re luckily to die in under 2 seconds.
I would love to see this clip. I believe that you have maybe misunderstood/badly translated the English as I know ulf and watch his stream and what your saying in “the context your saying” has never been said by him or any other member at Umbra.
I feel like Umbra are the only ones actually gathering evidence and writing reports, against said exploiters.
What you are doing is just throwing around baseless accusations, because we happen to be the better players, actually putting time into preparations for war.
You’re not gonna get any sympathy here just because you are a casual.
