Murder in Windsward! or Why did I die after timing out standing in front of the vault doing nothing at all

I went afk, and timed out.

When I logged back in I was dead.

As you can clearly see I am in the MIDDLE of Windsward at the top of the steps near the Storage.

What the heck?

Why am I dead?

Look where the X is.

I am clearly at the storage shed.

There is NO possible way I can die there.

That fine looking antlered bloke is where I was standing (give or take a foot here or there)

How is it I died? I was moving gear about and everything in my inventory is now damaged.
It wasn’t much but this is bizarre. I was not flagged for PvP .
I was murdered in Windsward.
