One of these things is not like the others… Just ban the damn musket already. So sick of being sniped by guys who aren’t even playing the game. Ruins OPR. Ruins war. Nobody wants it in PVE. The only people happy with it are the ones exploiting how OP it is. There is NO ROOM for what is effectively a SCOPED LASER RIFLE in this game,

Honestly even in some FPS games most weapons aren’t hitscam. Why would a freakin gun from the 1700’s would be hitscam in this game? what the hell.

Just make it deal barely any damage after 50m and it should be fine, same for bow

i can live with that as long as dev give faster reload time for musket, preferably around 0 point something slower than bow attack rate

All they need to do is add a debuf to musket in any PvP mode, damage reduction -xx%. That’s the quick fix.
The long fix, Skills and Perks have different effects depending on whether its used in PvP or PvE. They will never balance anything until they have a system that can be balanced.
Yea lets remove the Hitscan and let it be like a real Musket. Every headshot = Death
There is a reason why warfare for hundreds of years consisted of 200 men lining up 50 yards apart and blasting at each other…
Headshots only happen with huge volume of fire…
That said… it’s a game and I don’t expect reality… where can I throw a great axe and create a singularity? But the Hitscan is rediculous in this game. It would be rediculous even in any modern FPS… so why is it here?

a hitscan crossbow…sounds fun 
everybody knows it. everyone can see it doesnt belong in the game except for these clueless devs. so many people stopped playing because of it and they just dont move. name any other game being ruined by one weapon without any action being taken EXCEPT for buffs.

Yeah lets keep It real, jump from a 50m mountain after snipping and break your legs and you cant walk away by your self.
Muskets were 50 cal balls. Medical abilities during those 200 years meant no matter where that hit, if you were hit, you’d likely die from the damage, or infection.

that isnt exactly right… remember we all came as sailors to aethernum, so muskets and blunderbusses make a lot of sense. the time and space splitting axe makes less sense in that regard

Muskets are more lore fantasy then FS IG VG are xD
