Sadly, stopping power just isn’t worth it(perhaps if you could fire it in Shooters Stance…). Traps are too big and are destroyed too easily. Powershot is a a nice bit of damage and I’ll probably just use it instead of a mindless AoE spam ability.
So, looks like they weren’t happy with one ability in the trapper tree not being shit.
Ofc they will. Mostly because its very frustrating to play against a good musket player. Playing against a good melee player isn’t that bad because you feel like you can counterplay it somehow. Not against good musket player. If he has a good aim you will die no matter what you do.
Its very hard to balance hitscan weapon like this. Its very weak in hands of sub/average player but insanely strong in hands of a good fps player.
Only because of OPR map its heavily focused around range control. Every MMO with open arenas strugle with range being to strong. Change map to balance encounters.
also i’m happy that you speculate musket will be dead weapon
people will quit playing this weapon, i will still stick to it, and i will say that i play niche weapon
it’s only marginally stronger then another normal shot given the escalating returns from consecutive hits while aiming, and you’re giving up either Powershot (which you’ll be able to move while priming) or an AoE(spit spit).
