yes the patch makes this musket feels terrible
they nerf the most damage dealer, powerful tactical reload now feels so stupid.
musket is literally D/E tier right now
what weapon can compare to musket? every single weapon beat musket already
or DEVS want to musket player use it as a long range weapon which its so impossible to kill someone its so stupid,. all u can do at long range is tickling them do u think its enough ? when healer is everywhere
And using kills as a metric in OPR isnt a great measure since you can drop a 20 bomb just by stealing kills from top of a mountain. Musket range was and still is the only advantage the weapon has, and yet they nerf the fire rate and make it feel horribly clunky. nerf damage over range and revert the fire rate nerf and its balanced.
I also add that the musket, since it needs a head shot to make sense (without a head shot you don’t even kill the turkeys), it is really too dependent on the performance of the server and of your pc.
When there is even a slight lag or slight drops in fps, the musket becomes unusable. See shots go past enemy bodies and no damage.
I don’t know what AGS people can do, but I just need to modify it taking into account that it is too dependent on lag and fps compared to any other weapon.
yeah muskets cant even shoot GA player anyway else they get shot by there musket or bows, so fight tend to become range vs range until a melee on one side walks up behind u while ur shooting there rnage and basicly 1 shot you lol
Could someone who gets like 4k damage on people post their builds and perks? I’m like only hitting for 800 or so and I know I keep getting smacked for over 2-3k when I’m on the receiving end. I want to know the sekrets!
Also, please let me know if it requires aimbot because I cannot for the life of me maintain headshots with everyone moving and bouncing. Usually miss or need bodyshot. Sadge.
There is another “flaw” in the game, well at least in my opinion and thats called I-frames. This game has WAAY to much I-frames. So you have to shoot the musket carefully cause if the enemy uses they “dodge” and then their i-frame kicks they are immune to damage even if the animation (bullet) flies thru their bodies.
Honestly, the damage on musket is just too low, +4 headshots vs light, 7+ vs medium, and I lost count how many headshots it takes to kill someone in heavy. I’m glad they fixed the exploits, now it’s time to buff up the damage or make the activated abilities worth, you know… activating?
