Musket needs to have animation cancel anytime when reloading, or sitting in shooters stance

Musket movement is garbage. after the 1st engage , you can almost never put another crippling powder burn without getting cced /targeted when ur stuck in 1 position. AGS needs to allow movement or at least animation cancel in all Abilities.

Musket also needs to be able to switch to grenade faster. the musket has to be full seathed out before you can even press the grenade skill, it is very VERY clunky and needs to be addressed.

100% AGREE. Same as bow after you shoot you can’t dodge and stuck in a slow walk for like 1s

you can roll pretty fast after a bow though with this new update cant you? i need to try it out more.

Actually Shoot and dodge, “Tactical Reload” passive perk usage was buttery smooth before but they change it with patch make it clunky I don’t know why, on that last arena 1.5 patch they ninja nerfed shooter stance’s fire rate also :slight_smile:

The devs dont listen to the musket players. they decided on something that just made the gameplay feel smooth. Let mustkets have all this long animation while fire staff and ice gauntlet can spawn fireballs and a storm in mere nano seconds after being clicked.

I’ve been pretty accepting of the really clunky limitations of the musket because of just how strong it could be in certain situations but that’s really changed.
They absolutely destroyed the musket’s DPS(already the lowest dps in the game) with the shooter’s stance change while leaving the pre shot delay after aiming, post shot animation lock, reload animation lock, post roll shot delay, incredibly slow special shot animations, and slow reload time.
Then they nerfed traps by making them cartoonishly large even though they were already getting hard nerfed with the root change as well as the musket not being able to capitalize on traps with all the delays they’ve added.
Trap throw is still slow, sticky bomb is still a 2 part ability and clunky as can be, stopping power is incredibly useless literally no idea what they thought they were doing with the “rework.”

And don’t give me any crap about getting better. I still top war boards, opr, and win the vast majority of my arenas matches even when I solo queue. This is in spite of the weapon not because of it. It’s incredibly obvious just how outclassed the weapon is once you run into another geared player of equal ability.

AND to top all this off we have what is quite possibly the single worst crosshair ever created. It’s a god damn jpeg just make it a dot. It’s amazing you have to pretend like this would even take your team 5 minutes to improve.

I haven’t tested it out just yet to see what they exact time differences would be but I but I swear it feels like shooter stances is now slower than just shooting regularly And throwing in a tactical Reload

Also I was in A-war last night It was a attack And I was running anti seige Which I have plenty of experience for I’m one of the best anti seige players on my server And I noticed something has drastically changed with the damage output To the siege on the fort My war musket is ruinous chain fire Empowering

As for an armor I am fully bis Out with my musket for maximum damage and I run 300 dex 210 intelligence

Before this patchI was doing roughly 3000 to 5000k Damage to the siege Last night’s war though the highest crit I was able to get on A-war hornWas just a little over 3K with the average being about 1700Couple that with the rate of fire nerf

And it looks like I’m gonna be running a ruinous bow for now on

Also I’m not sure if it was on this post or another post But why can’t I change the radical I would much prefer just having a dot And can we please be able to remove the ammunition count To the right of the radical I’ll rather it be on the bottom of my screen I don’t need to see it at all points

The main issue is they keep balancing musket or attempting to balance it around being a super long range weapon, where people sit on rocks. Most of us musket players don’t want to play that way. We want to play in point, in the back line with the bow and mage players. Many of us also make it work.

Every other weapon combo can be very successful with 150-200 con, but muskets can’t. Three abilities root you in place, 2 of them are clunky as hell while also slowing you down and making you a target and the last one is basically useless.

Then we can discuss expeditions and how the musket is the absolute worst weapon to bring into most expeditions. There’s a reason it’s the least used weapon in the game.
