You made a list of claims of things he could of done to prevent dying, when again that isn’t the point. The point is how many shots killed a heavy player in a build at the start of a match. You then sarted insulting his skills as player when you have never seen him play, why would I provide you a clip when you are just going to be a prick and knit pick every little thing when that literally has nothing to do with how 4 shots killed a heavy player. I mostly enjoy open world PVP and OPR back capping. Many times I need to run into places with mobs. The amount of mobs that eat my abilities is disgusting. I have literally never raged more in any game than when I am about to kill someone and my leaping strike tracks to a wolf they pulled to the left of them. I played the game when tracking on leaping strike was worse, and I think the game DOES need tracking to a degree, otherwise some of your abilities and your smaller melee weapons like hatchet will straight up never land. Before the leaping strike changes, I had like a 50% hit chance of leaping strike, it would constantly go through people, hit JUST to the left of them, etc, likely because of desync and lag. S&S was my favorite weapon since the beta, but the whiffing on leaping strike made me switch to other weapons. I’m back on it now cause I land them way more now with the changes. I couldn’t imagine playing hatchet if they nerfed the tracking on it.
But on the flip side, they absolutely NEED to make PVP tracking the priority. I should never lose a leaping strike to a wolf standing 5 meters to the left of my target. I should NEVER lose any ability to the center of the stupid objectives in OPR. I lose tonnes of fights because of this. Key abilites at key times being taken away because the respawn point that isnt even there absorbs it. I agree that maybe they should remove tracking, but only on NPCs. I dont need to be tracking to NPCs ever. Nobody needs to.

So nerf muskets in OPR when they are already the worst weapon in pve and close to the worst in 3v3s. Got it. The only thing I can agree with here is that mortal empowerment should be removed from the game.
Agreed, the best perks on weapons should be at 250/300 stat points
I’ve said they need to buff the musket for PvE, how could they do it without causing them to be more powerful in PvP? I think they should add more AOE/damage to the trapper (traps, sticky bimb) side which requires you to be in closer proximity to other players/mobs

Nerfed, LOL, people have tested this and the over all damage reduction is like 4-5% at 80m+ and they get to use Power/Powder burn on the move, this is a buff…

Stand still? I have 3 dodge rolls, full thrust resistance, full resilience and no matter what I do, strafe, dodge, zigzag they manage to hit and kill me in 3 shots. The only thing that can save you is actual cover which doesn’t exist when you’re trying to get into an OP.
Read THE PTR NOTES. They nerfed MUSKET, stop crying.
I went and put down the musket, slapped on a greatsword and OWNED Muskets with it. I didn’t die in 3 hits like you, I have good movement, good iframe timing and worst of all I’m using an OVERPOWERED MELEE WEAPON

and yes, the nerf isnt even clsoe to what its neeeded…this is an mmo, a weapon shouldnt be 3-4 tapping at a distance no oen else can hit them, period.
EVERY other ranged class in EVERY other mmo relies on KITTING ability to damage, because since they can dps from a distance the devs didnt give them enough dps to BURSt someone down in 3 gcds…THAt is how you balance a ranged class, if you can dps form afar you CANT stand still and need tools to kite around while at the same time you cant have enough dps to burst people down…LITERALY every other mmo that was ever competitive had it that way, counter arguing that jsut further proves your alck of knowldge when it comes to mmo pvp design

So from 50 to 60% at full range and 30% vs 50% on BA passive. Both these will make little difference from the overall damage reduction of 3-5%
oh let’s forget the fact that they changed shooter stance which is literally the vessel of how Muskets can shoot you at a constant rate. Nice.
I mean, you never played the musket that’s why your lack of understanding is immense on how these things interact with each other.
Good, sitting in a static position 130m from your target pinking them with consecutive shots without them being able to respond is not fun, nor is it engaging pvp.
It would be different in a FPS were everyone is using hitscan weapons and can return fire. But this is an MMO and only one weapon (excluding musket which is close range) having that advantage is not good at all
If you’re just bad with the weapon because of some atrophy or whatever, just use some other weapon, there are several available.
Ok great, now you can stop crying. Ok? If you still cry about the musket AFTER the nerfs that’s 1000 % because you just suck at PvP.
