Musket Requires 6 Consecutive Headshots to Kill A Player

As I said, It was five consecutive shots in shooter’s stance, plus a sixth reg shot, plus a seventh shot to kill the downed target.

I want you to know that I’m not being argumentative at all when I say that that answered none of my questions.

What are your questions? I don’t know the armor class. Should it really matter with 6 consecutive headshots? Anyways, you’re entitled to your opinion as I am mine and I think that the current damage output of this weapon is lacking and/or mitigation is too extreme.

Yeah totally. I typically run heavy with at least 200con(+20%armor) and I always have oakflesh balm on me(35%phys dmg reduction for x number of hits or x number of seconds) I think that it would take more than 6 headshots to kill me.

Again, who cares? Why would you remove sniping ability, from a sniper gun? You can nerf it’s effectiveness with damage, RoF etc, but how would anyone ever think to take away it’s range when that’s literally it’s whole purpose…

Ok? Then realign your values. 6-7 shots is perfectly fine if the whole advantage for you is not having to worry about the target hitting you at all… You really think it’s balanced to have something shoot at any range to kill with three shots? Do you really, actually not see a problem with that??

Yeah the player he was shooting was geared with 200 con (correct build).

Strongly disagree. We are talking about headshots on moving targets at extreme ranges.

In shooter’s stance, you are not able to move. Your target can move and find cover.

If you land 6 consecutive headshots from shooter’s stance on a moving target, that should be a kill in my opinion.

Muskets should be removed, they will always be either too good or too shit. Impossible to balance a hitscan weapon that actually requires skill in a game with the skill ceiling of a outhouse.

i killed a ga/wh player with my pocket 582 musket with 99 dex/ 297 int in skinner gear easily
