AGS - Please listen to your community! the musket is destroying every single shred of fun that remains. you need to absolutely immediately change this weapon, or simple remove it.
I have plenty of fun OPR matches, until you get some musket players. they sit on rocks and forts and you cannot approach, 2-3 and as a heavy dodging, weaving blocking. I cannot even approach. I get down to 10% health in seconds and I am still miles and miles away from them. its is impossible, if you are not a musket player you cannot get to them. I know that AGS thinks that means its fun. I assure you it is NOT fun. musket players ruin the game, 100%, I have fun until musket players come in and then it is a horribly depressing and un-enjoyable experience. why should I play this game when the only good thing is being absolutely destroyed by musket?
I have no problem with dying, being beaten by better players, I die a lot… like a really large amount of times… and thats fine… its the fact that muskets prevent you from being able to do anything at all in the game. you cannot back cap, because they spot you in the distance and kill you from their rock perches. you cannot approach them to try and disrupt them. you die before you even get close. you cannot fight anyone outside of a fort because you are in the open and muskets will destroy you. you cannot do anything except zerg in a bunch and then stay in the fort. you can’t even run to baron because a few minutes before baron the muskets set up on perches around baron and then you die just trying to get there…
you cannot play the game. you cannot do anything. you cannot fight, you cannot take objectives. you cannot play the game. all you can do is dodge and weave and chug pots and hope that you can get to the next bit of cover and then wait for another team member to become the target and have their game ruined while you try to run to an actual objective, whether that is a fight or an outpost… it is a terrible, disheartening, oppressive, NOT FUN experience. Games are meant to be enjoyable. this is the opposite.
I understand that you won’t read this, or care about it in the slightest. but hopefully you do see the hundred and hundreds of other posts all saying the same thing about musket. please I beg you, listen to your community and do something as a matter of extreme urgency. before you destroy your own game.
