Musket was buffed.... by .5 seconds.... great

I still think it’s a bad solution to the hitscan mechanic, and now that it’s hitting shots at the same rate as the bow long range it should do equal damage as it. Because lower damage was always the nerf to compensate for it. But yea until it gets bullet travel time I guess this is what we get

this is so ridiculous they added fall off damage all bow attack starting at 40m that was the way to do on musket too but they just added 5s time for accuracy hahah what a joke. my opinion is since we have Medium map on OPR and all character looks really small from far away they should make all range weapon to be Medium range at least 50M away so we dont have any long range weapon we not playing Battlefield or Call of duty we dont need any long range weapon since the map is small plus we barely could see someone from far away.

im glad they did that to the bow i never used bow until this patch and i was still hitting my target doing 4k per hit. the hitbox was crazy

I fully agree. The musket is still an unplayable, useless piece of crap.
I would suggest taking constructive statements from people who play with this weapon, rather than the many crying melee players who are comfortable with the unplayable state of the musket.

Bow no longer counters musket due to damage fall off, at least if we’re speaking about the really long range ones

Dude, the nerf countered muskets at long range…reduced fire rate to 4.5 seconds is a pretty big damage fall off. Now bow has it too.

I actually kinda disagree with the bow nerf tho. I feel like they’re nerfing the long range aspect of it, as well as the initial full heath damage buff stuff that people use for 1 shot builds against random mobs with hatchet rend. Like I don’t think that’s what people are destroying with in pvp. The bow is deadly at a range like 10-25m. Because of the hit box size it’s relatively easy to hit shots or shoot into clumps at 25m… but if you hit me at 100m? Dude honestly I’m fine getting chunked for like 3/4th if you can hit that shot.

What they did do that I personally think was a good ideawas nerf the hit box size. It’s shot trucks for a while. And I’m not saying it shouldn’t, but with everything else getting nerfed it kinda lowered the bar for a good weapon… so not that it needs a nerf I think other weapons should be buffed

Do you find a big difference with accuracy?

Yes. If you play close range you can play without the perk.
But if you play mid-long range, you should go with accuracy for consistency. I like playing side/backlines lurking and I definitely feel the difference with accuracy perk.

all they have to do is remove bloom whenever i move my crosshair and then we can really see how trash the weapon is

acc barely noticeable btw. Still a complete RNG gamble beyond 30m regardless how long you’re standing still

Doing some testing and i’ll post a video in a new topic with a ton of different stances and scenarios on musket accuracy. Currently everything is tested at 40m. Walking shots, dodgeroll shots, and walking moving aimed shots still need to be done

Yeah very very playable. 90% of clips depending on traps to do something or else killing with rapier.
Just accept it is dead dude there’s no argument here.
I didn’t recorded the whole match but i just wanted a fast clip of how bad is it if i post the whole arena match you were going to cry.
I missed 80% of my shots just by pure RNG but still won because i know how to use rapier very well.
Doesn’t change the fact musket is useless tho.

It’s a simple thing.
Where there is RNG there isn’t skill involved.
It is one or another you chose which way this game can go.
