the damage and playstyle is disgustingly unfun to play against, single target damage that rivals the bow and takes 5 times less skill. along with the rapier defensive kite style of gameplay its unplayable against and game breaking. Rework musket to have more trap damage/features so these rats can camp around traps and do half as much damage with autos, so coordinated muskets can still melt but one or two cant machine gun ak47 mow down everyone. Musket cant be countered with thrust resist gems because they all use int gems so damage is 50/50, it forces you to be medium armor if you dont want to get 3 tapped from a different area code.

Dude. 2 muskets in arena won 2v3 against bow and 2 mages. They just hit for 3.5k and you can’t catch them because they use rapier. They also heavy attack you for 3k+ and the funny thing is that the heavy attack after riposte makes you immune to cc. 3 times I tried to sweep the rapier heavy attacking me and I see the dmg register but he just rolls away or keeps attacking

The only weapons that are imbalanced are vg against melee, rapier, hatchet due to defy death and life staff due to insane heals and rapier providing so much utility. Oh yea and bb

Its not the musket man, people are legit using cheats for the gun. It operates similar to a gun in an FPS, so aimbots can be made for it.
You can google search for them.
I run a musket, 625 with empower and attunement, gear is all 615. I run thrust on ring, 5x thrust resist, 3x ele resist and 5x resilience.
My headshot crits ARE LUCKY to EVER hit 3k. If I see 3k I am happy as a goat. Most of the time I am hitting for 1200-1800 split between thrust and elemental, plus about 220 something for the attunement.
It takes me FOREVER to kill people, hit after hit after hit. Tanks take sub 700 damage. I have had dot ticks for 23.
And yet. Muskets against me (keep in mind my resist and thrust resist…ohh on top of the PVP bread) are critting me for 6k+. I am literally being 2 shot.
I have NEVER seen anything like this on my end as far as my damage done.
So…people say “its the pvp ring with stacks”…umm no. I have seen these 6k crits from alleged cheaters with me being their first kill in a match.
Something is definitely wrong. I dont know how much is cheating, how much is exploiting. I dont know what it is. I talk to others, they say the same thing I see. So, its not just on my end.
And let me say it this way. I am so confident in my observations, I am seriously considering leaving the game, because once you are unable to play on a fair (no cheat) battlefield, there is no reason to even try.
The fact that AGS allows for people to detune their graphcis where all foliage is removed and everything looks like basic polygon shapes, is pretty telling.
