Mutation Elements are locked and not changing, no variety except for promotion/curse

Last week continued with Fire Depths and Nature Tempest

This week we are on Nature Genesis and Void Dynasty

The mutation affix is not changing for these dungeons at all. We are going months with 0 variety to these dungeons.

See my edited reply from the post now factoring in the data from this week:

factoring today’s mutation type
Tempest Nature for 3 rotations in a row (12 weeks)
Lazarus Hellfire for 3 rotations in a row (12 weeks)
Depths Hellfire for 4 rotations in a row (16 weeks) probably more
Ennead Ice for 3 rotations in a row (12 weeks)
Barnacles Ice for 3 rotations in a row (12 weeks)
Dynasty Void for 3 rotations in a row (12 weeks) (according to this data, I believe the instance that is not specified was indeed a void mutation as well)
Genesis Nature for 4 rotations in a row (16 weeks)

Surely this is not intentional??

This is included in the update notes for tonight.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Mutated Expeditions to receive the same elemental Mutations more often than intended.

Ennead is still Ice for now 4 rotations.

Starstone is Void again for 2 rotations.

I understand there is a chance that this could happen but nailing BOTH the previous Ennead and Starstone elements from 4 weeks ago . . . surely this warrants investigation into the efficacy of the “fix”

Starstone has been void ever since it released. It doesn’t know anything other than void. I don’t know how many rotations it’s been. 4? 5? Something along those lines.

Starstone is what started the rotation. As soon as it got thrown into the mix we had 8 expeditions and 4 elements. Giving us a perfect cycle.

At this point they should just manually change them every week or forget about them completely since the new expedition comes out in a month and it’ll fix itself.

Really disappointing that they couldn’t even figure out how to do random elements properly, though. Especially considering the curse and promotion already roll randomly and have since mutations came out.

Bug is back. Please forward.

Ah, let’s wait until tomorrow - perhaps a new “feature” will be implemented and mutations will be changed again after 24hours. Who needs predictability…
