Mutation score is calculating WRONG and prevents to archive GOLD rank

I’m assuming all the scoring is multiplied by the multiplier including negative points except for the time bonus. Then there’s probably some messed up rounding that’s happening.


same here on multiplier x6 runs

So the issue has been found by someone in our guild, The mob point’s are capped at 60 mobs…So 40 points a mob is 2400 points for that. (2k+2.4k+8k)x5 is 62k and (-3.180k+2.4k+8k-400)x5 is 34.1k so they just show it getting more points for extra mobs killed when it shouldn’t

Their scoring system is not competitive with current algorithm as this caps score in areas where teams could differentiate. For example you get no increase in score for a faster time and as you mentioned if you killed more than the cap of mobs then again you get no increase in score. This creates an upper limit which I find hilarious that their tweets were asking for peoples scores and who is doing well. What they will see is roughly the same numbers since there is no competition.

To also add Gold is a simple option of either don’t die or complete it in under 35mins as you need at least a x5 multiplier. This makes the progression boring and limits the creative options for getting gold. Why can’t we kill everything and miss the time by 1 or 2 mins with a few extra deaths?

if you do the math on our m7 run that isnt the case, somewhere we are gaining an extra 150 points before the multiplier kicks in

I am wrong about the time scoring however the differentiation between 3s faster and 7min 30s faster is 447 points as seen in the above gold completions. Which correlates to 1 point per second

34:57 = 2003 points
27:30 = 2450 points

but say mob points were capped at 2400, im still not sure how i have 2150 points left over…

Right. That 2150 correlates to your time score but not sure how 2450 converts down to 2150 unless there is a hidden cap there too?

yea its very confusing, the m5 run with x5 correlated correctly to a cap of 2000points for time, but our m7 with x6 manages to leave extra…


this is the highest one we got as a group. should help to confuse the situation a bit more.
in this one if you work backwards and assume that Named enemys killed is capped at 60. so 2400 points
you get
77652 / 6 = 12942
Take Named 8k away
12942 - 8000 = 4942
Take 2400 from Normal Mobs away
4942 - 2400 = 2542. = 300 away from the clear time.

now onto the 2nd highish score we got


77430 / 6 = 12905
Take Named 8k away
12905 - 8000 = 4905
Take 2400 from Normal Mobs away
4905 - 2400 = 2505. = 300 away from the clear time.


Now one with -200 Score
74904 / 6 = 12484
Take Named 8k away
12905 - 8000 = 4484
Take 2400 from Normal Mobs away
4484 - 2400 = 2084.
add the 200 from Respawns
2084 + 200 = 2284. = 300 away from the clear time

TLDR Clear time seems to have some sort of hidden 300 score taken off it in almost all cases.
and Killed mobs are always capped at 2400 points / 60 kills

if anyone has any negative score modifier clears they can post id like to see if its an under time limit thing or if its any clear.

Garden of Genesis has 9 named enemies, if you kill all of them you will see +9000 on your victory screen but it seems that this is also capped to +8000 points. Can anyone confirm?
