I believe they should adjust the mutation level according to the individual GS.
For example, when being hit by a mob you would receive damage multiplied by the mutation’s level.
This would greatly simplify the task of gathering a party, as the player could have his group quickly formed by players from any GS.
I stopped playing them. No point at this stage. The rewards are garbage in most of them. The time investment vs the gains are incomparable. I did hundreds of them - probably close to 1K and i found 1 - ONE ITEM - which i was able to sell for 180K - and it wasnt even bis. After they nerfed money income from mutations im not even able to get my money back in most cases for the items i used (respec+honing stone+coatings+food+repair items) - i think im barely making anything doing those.
If you dont already have your group of friends/5 mans, youre extremely behind the curve and its gonna get harder and harder to catch up over time.
Unfortunately this isnt a concern of the devs at this time.
I’m not sure (it would be impossible/hard to implement). I think it should be just one level and matchmaking based on ranking. Difficulty should be scaled down to the worst GS player, but prizes should be individual to each player. That mean if u have played x dungeon 10 times with gold result u get max prizes - both chests and shards (but this system should be hidden under just one level). It would also require matchmaking queue for solo player and current lobby system, if u create lobby u all need to be at same GS or you will be all downgraded to worst GS prizes at the end (to prevent abusive behaviour).
I might do a mutation 1 or 2 times a day if that.
I’ve been doing mutations since they were introduced so obviously by this point im not interested in shards…just mainly the loot. But after the recent changes…the legendaries hasnt been dropping as often as they used to and im getting more BoP more than ever now.
Mutations are starting to be old content at this point and as more players start to pile up on umbral shards, you are going to start to see less and less players looking for groups because there’s little to no incentive to keep running them.
I usually find a lobby in 10-30 minutes. But it’s mostly from a friend list and company. I cant imagine running M10s with a full stack of randoms.
100% agree. Tempest is too long and low regarded. Both corrupted. dont help too.
with decent team you can make tempest within 35-40 min which is like 5-10 more then laz. Sure if you calculate time vs rewards then I can imagine ppl skip it, but it is not the case. Even if there is laz/gen mutation player base seems to be lower and lower weeek by week.
Mutations requires changes. Maybe they should add more chests for longer dungeons?

Im doing m10 on Nysa every day. Usually we are 3 friends and we choose 2 randoms.
Most people i know only do m10 with friends.
But yes, we need cross servers.
Most of my friends is not doing them, because they are simply not fun. I will give you few examples.
Every week there is rotation, each time something else is mutated so, for example wanna do dynasty, you need corrupted set with ward and all gems for let say fire, wanna go depths you also need corrupted, same set but with ice gem. So you friends looking for a healer for dynasty, you buying expensive gems, replace them and then they do not do it again, but someone is making group for depths, so you wanna go but? you need change all game, waste few thousand coins every 40 minutes. No sorry bro, not gonna do it, and this is just example of behing let say healer, but i may play multiple roles, tank, spear, etc, from where to get money for that?
Another example. The core mechanics in this game is to use “dodge” and using “skills”, but someone in AGS was totally out of ideas so he figure out, that good idea is gonna be to panish players for using basic mechanics of the game like using dodge and skills.
The developers force healers for example to play in light armor, force us to use skills to heal other players but same time, punish me for staying faar from damage and using heals or dodge.
Sorry but this is too much for me and my friends, we stopped doing those mutationes, no fun at all, just waste of time.

Thats called RNG. I know people who are running mut since they launched and never dropped anything good. Just because youre more lucky than others - that doesnt mean my opinion is invalid.
Not really sure how you can make more money than you spend - either way you dont use any consumables or youre just selling shards - in both cases thats garbage behaviour. And i probably actually hate shard sellers more than people not using their consumables. KEK
