Can anyone explain to me, what is the difficuilty behind this system? So, say, recomended gear score is 625 and my gs is 624 - I’m having a real hard time, sweating my a** off and finally get the precious bronze after 5 hours. And then I, all of a sudden, manage to get to 625 gs by leveling my earring. which is a recomended gs for the particular level. And then I complete the exact same mutator in 25 minutes, almost falling asleep, how easy it suddenly became.
Why does it work like that? Why does it exist?? What is that magical thing that happens to my character that he becomes so strong and almighty, adding a FRACTION of gear to itself?? How is this ANY immersion (gotta keep body blocking in game though, super immersive)?? Why not just make trash and bosses have MORE HP AND MORE DAMAGE WITH EVERY LEVEL, DUH!
I dunno, this just feels dumb… in different games (not gonna say, which ones, it is abvious anyways) it takes you at least DAYS to progress, as your gear - is only an internal issue, it has no exogenious correlation (like downscaling mobs to be as dangerous as rabbits next to Everfall) and here, if I really sweat in a mutator, I can braindead farm a lower level one, get my GS up and then keep braindead farming mutators of higher levels. And they are even limited to a 10.
