I noticed alot of 80 player servers and your prob on one. When the merges go through all those 90 player servers in your region will most likely be merged together soo stock piling the mats now is a good idea.
I think they’ll merge soon. It had been tested it in beta already. It must be super frustrating and the only think to do is run uncontested resource runs. Orchi is camped 24/7 on my server so be prepared.
grind whatever resources you can before server merges and then get merged, or transfer.
game trash, company trash
but but but… pvp players says game must be hard gitgut and money are in tha game… :)))))) sure
Your best bet until merges or new transfer tokens are coming, is to organize with the server, and actually defend invasions.
Watch videos and guides how to do it.
So sad that it is hilarious! just quit playing, I think server merging isn’t coming soon
I think that cross-server queues is a fantastic idea. Guild Wars 1 did this perfectly. The only drawback is who knows what kind of lift this would take from programming.
similar on my server, whats worse is that right before all green faction left they jacked taxes through the roof, i’m also green faction. Now there aren’t enough people to declare war to get these territories back so whats left of the players are just watching things downgrade and dealing with 25% taxes, and there is literally nothing we can do. it has ruined half the map and taken away most peoples houses. This game design is laughably short sighted, and they seem more interested in adding a shiny new gauntlet than anything else.
Most modern MMOs are designed with the ability to offer cross server functionality. if NW had tried to keep up with the times instead of rushing this game to market, certain features would have been built in from the beginning, like cross-server, LFG tools, Guild banks/halls, better chat features, etc etc. All these things are OLD NEWS in MMO gaming today. They built this game like it was 1998 instead of 2021.
The game should keep track of how many players are on at certain times. It should adjust by the player per server. More players = More invasions. Fewer players = Fewer invasions. This was brought up when I was playing on a lower pop server.
For me, it’s commonsense. I’m not sure where the commonsense went with regulating the invasions? It’s either, “You have a full server and almost maintain all of your level 5 crafting stations,” or, “You’re a low pop server and lucky to maintain a few level 5 crafting stations.”
I think this does need to be addressed. There will be server merges, but even that doesn’t solidify a consistent high pop server.
It is sad that they PTR has show that people are hungry to see what the next changes are. The fact that my friends are not playing anymore cause they feel these broad sweeping changes to the weapon “Fixes” are what is killing it. They are too used to how a weapon works yet when they fixed a passive. it trashed the weapon and how the mob killing works. Friends stated that “Not fun playing a game mobs 15 levels under you are destroying you. I have 0 motivation to touch this game until weapons are fixed and the PTR proves they only care about the PvP and the GA/WH people. Seems they are taking the WoW route and doing whatever without listening to the true community, only streamers.”. Our server has a max population of 300. Economy is dead. no one needs to buy anything or will buy anything. Towns are de-evolving as the fraction chat states "no income coming in to support the town. It isnt worth keeping a town. " They couldnt even get enough people signed up for Outpost Rush. We were talking about using the transfer token to move to one of the 4 over 600+ people servers but friends said that if the game stays this broken without Amazon caring about more then the PvP streamers, then the whole thing will fail. The people play on the PTR with hope of seeing the exploits and fixes in place. If these are the weapon changes going into game, Amazon hit a major artery and the whole game is going to bleed out. They added some new content, hell, they have to at this point, the only issue is you still need a team to fix the exploits as well. (and pray they don’t add new ones as it comes out.) OMG those were blatant bugs, shame of the Alpha testers. Wait!! They do have alpha QC testers and not having the PTR for us to test as a cost saving gesture?
Server merge will be worthless if they dont stop the bleeding. I think they exec’s gave a “go live or else” order so Dev had no choice. so we pay for it butt they are currently driving us away in droves and pretty soon nothing will be able to get them back. They want to have a space program but they cant get enough people for launch and release that follows. It is one good thing about ESO is the fact that they have one giant server cluster so you dont worry about caps, “realms” and server mergers. I keep reading the patch releases and hope, fading hope but with hope. Cool ideas but whoever is balancing them needs to rethink thinks to get the population back so they have server expansion and not mergers.
If the player drop offs keeps going at this rate they might be able to squeeze us all into a single server sooner rather than later hahaha.
That’s where the hope is hope, but not factual. Things could change, nothing is 100% set in stone. I just feel, and see it constantly, the smaller server will have a hard time recovering. Without server merges, most of the time, smaller servers are forgotten. Wish I could say different @Ssalaar.
You’re looking at least 6m to a year before they do a merge probably. You’re better off just rolling to a new server.
I think so too. It will take a long time before they merge.
hope it happens soon. Having the last 200 players on your server work together regardless of faction to keep the t5 stations upgraded defeats that purpose of the game. at this point its kind of pve until there’s a player base for war and OPR on your server. and there aren’t many servers with that player base its horrific
