My epic shield was downgraded to uncommon

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: When I logged in after patch my epic shield which I paid 3k gold for has now been downgraded to a worthless uncommon shield with same GS and only one perk. I expect to be compensated for this loss, Im not exactly wealthy yet so this shield was a huge financial investment for me

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: downgraded my gear

Same here, had Compulsion shield (legendary) on Trading Post. When i looked it was all of the sudden Rare (blue) and when i took it off it changed to Epic. Lmao.

My tower shield (the one with the skin of a kite shield) was downgraded from epic to rare. GG lost an important perk.

Same here, my epic shield downgrades to uncommon and only has a luck perk just like you.!

So, was this an inteded change or will it be reverted?
Kinda annoying i craft a lego shield for it later te become a lesser item…

My epic shield was downgraded to uncommon as well.
It was only a few hundreds of gold - not that big deal but what is going on? Another stealth nerf or is it a bug?

Same thing happened to me (except for the 3k, OUCH) - I would like to know when we are getting our items back as well.

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Following the recent patch my Epic Purple Desecrated Tower Shield changed to a green item in inventory called “Tower Shield of the Nomad”
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Shield that I got via chest drop was taken away by update.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No, in fact since the patch I have not seen any desecrated items drop from the chest in Foulrot / Mourningdale that I got this from.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

This was the last drop in what can only be described as a giant ocean of shit. This game is simply not worth my time. I have allready spent around 200 hours in the game which means New World has ended up being a giant waste of time for me. Lets hope AMGS will improve, allthough somehow I doubt they ever will, which is why I will stay clear of their future project as well.
Disappointed!
